I guess there are so many options with singles but why rush?! When We Were Young is the perfect follow up to Hello.

"Send My Love" should probably be next, although I don't particularly like that one. PLEASE let "Remedy" be 4th, and if we get a 5th single, "Water Under the Bridge".

Yea max martin didnt deliver on Send My Love. It prolly be a single for sure w his name on it, but Water Under The Bridge is the better mid tempo. Its actually one of the best song on the album. When We Were Young is great as well and is the right follow up to Hello. They need to send out a different sound next tho.

Absolutely love this and I'm super glad this is the second single. I can't wait for this to start slaying, even though I'm also content with "Hello" continuing to dominant for awhile, too.

Top 50 on AC now too: 76 50 ADELE When We Were Young 36 20 16 0.309 Crazy it made top 50 with all the Christmas songs getting so much airplay. Can see it exploding on AC after Christmas, along with "Hello".

I could see this being way way bigger on AC than Hello was. #1 most of the year on that format wouldn't surprise me.

Could this be the biggest song of 2016? From a singles sales perspective it'll start gaining early in the year and could rack up huge numbers if she does this at the Grammys.

I could see this and Water Under The Bridge being absolutely massive on HAC and AC. Send My Love will be as well, but to a lessor extent.
Gah, she's gonna have so many legs on this album. Already at 7 million in the US and the second single hasn't even took off yet. Lmao.

One of the three people who hasn't heard the CD but based on what I have heard, Water Under the Bridge is way more my cup of tea than this.

Water Under The Bridge is the second best song on the record. For those saying its a 5th or 4th single need to have multiple seats.
1. Hello 2. When We Were Young 3. Water Under The Bridge 4. Remedy 5. Send My Love

I think this time there will be more singles. She spent 4 long years in this album, and i don't think she will rush to record the next one, so there will be (if everything goes well) at least 5 (and this time she will promote them)

She spent 4 long years in this album, and i don't think she will rush to record the next one, so there will be (if everything goes well) at least 5 (and this time she will promote them) I think she'll have to have more singles. I expect her singles to perform a lot like Taylor's 1989, where she has to release more frequently than normal due to radio jumping on them so quickly. So if she wants to capitalize on her likely/guaranteed Grammy hype in 2017, she'll probably be on her 5th single by then. The fact that it's only been 2 months since "Hello" and she's already got single #2 top 30 on pop and climbing quickly means she's probably ahead of that schedule by now. She would have to do a single every 4 months from here on out to have her 5th single out during Grammy time. (Of course, this is all just speculation, maybe one single will flop ;) )

Lmao flop update, next. Santa has officially sleighed Adele. Except this song actually has the second highest daily spin gain on the entire Pop chart.

I could see this being way way bigger on AC than Hello was. #1 most of the year on that format wouldn't surprise me. ADELE is causing a huge shift in the way AC approaches hits - the fact they were out of the box with "Hello" was a bit unusual, but it was lead single from a core artist. Now with WWWY, it also appears AC may also play concurrently with Pop/HAC, I can't recall that happening with a 2nd single. Even Taylor, who became an AC darling this past year, had a 'lag' between Pop/HAC and AC airplay. What's interesting is that "Hello's" AC cycle was disrupted by holiday play and is nowhere close to peaking on that format. Will AC play both on maximum spins or defer to "Hello" for several weeks while gradually building WWWY? And, yes, WWWY will be released to streaming as a single. Whether she does another concept video or waits until the 3rd single is the wildcard. Guess it depends on whether they want H100 #1s.

I cannot wait until Jan 2, so we will be over the Christmas songs and year-end count downs just to see what happens with ALLLL the songs.
