No surprise that this one is crossing over from the Country chart... three Hot AC stations added it this week, including WBMX in Boston.

When was the last time a country single moved too Pop/ Hot AC? I know "Take Your Time" did but I wouldn't consider that 100% country

I know "Take Your Time" did but I wouldn't consider that 100% country For the purpose of crossovers, you still have to consider Take Your Time and Girl Crush (neither of which is a traditional country song) "country." Both are still "country" as far as the radio industry is concerned. Plus, it's not like this song is more traditionally country than either of those. |

Just to let you all know, this is heading back up at Mainstream AC. The biggest bullet this has ever had occurred today, a +51. Additionally, a new peak position of #31. Why is AC just now, one and a half years after this was released, supporting this?
