I doubt it will...I mean the AI is so low...it won't even affect his sales...

He is definatly the least marketable of all Idol winners. Even Ruben did better.

I saw Taylor in concert and I think he's here to stay. He hit every note perfectly and he knows how to entertain a crowd. The concert reviewer for the newspaper said the same thing so it's not just coming from a fan. I have his new CD and I also have his 2 pre-idol self produced CD's. All 3 are good. They are all for sale at the concerts. When I hear "Just to Feel That Way" I can picture it being on a movie sound track. As he told Simon, Randy and Paula...just give me a chance. Taylor wanted a chance to have his voice heard. He might not be king of the mountain right now but his voice is being heard at sold out concerts every week and the crowd is loving him. A lot of good talent starts with American Idol. Everyone has to start somewhere. I like Carrie, Kat, Elliott, Kelly Clarkston and Bo along with Taylor.

I wish more people could hear this song. It's great on the cd, but I saw Taylor perform it live with so much raw emotion, it made me cry.
I understand there are lots of Taylor "anti-fans". I wish I could take each and every one of them to his concert. You may not become a Taylor fan, but you would definitely walk out with a smile on your face and more respect for a man who obviously loves music.
Thanks,

Just To Feel That Way is a beautiful song! Taylor Hicks sings it soulfully and from the heart as he does with all his other tracks. Listening to him on a CD is awesome, but the "real" Taylor Hicks livens up with a stage personna, second to none. Had the pleasure of seeing him live in concert and it was like no other that I've ever been to. He is a very complex and energetic performer and there is only way to describe him - "A Powerhouse." Go see him, you won't be disappointed! :)

I saw Taylor at the Tabernacle in Atlanta on 3/9, and he performed JTFTW. It's a beautiful song, and he performs it differently every time he sings it. Taylor will be peforming for years to come and gaining new fans all the time. If you don't get Taylor, you have no appreciation for real music.

I love Just To Feel That Way it's one of my favorites on his new CD, which is awesome!! I love his soulful voice and the way his music stirs my emotions. I'm seeing him live in concert tonight and I can't wait. I know he puts on an energetic performance and it's gonna be a blast.

Taylor takes listeners on a soulful journey throughout this whole cd. Just To Feel That Way transcends the so-called pop hits that are currently on the radio. It showcases his ability to weave his vocals in and out of down and gritty to his whiskey tenor range. I love this song. I am looking forward to seeing his concert in KC. From all of the reviews I have read, this is the ultimate way to enjoy his performances.

I saw Taylor Hicks at his first concert in Jacksonville, FL. I took along with me 2 people who were not fans. After the show, the 2 non-fans couldn't quit talking about his energy and how happy they were to have gone. His obvious love for music and performing is just infectious. Even if his music is not your favorite, there is no way a person can walk away from a live performance of his without great respect for his talent and passion.
As for "Just To Feel That Way", it is one of my favorite songs on his CD. The emotion and feeling of the song is something that anyone who has ever felt love can relate to.
This CD is my favorite. There are songs for every mood and Taylor's voice is one that I find can pick me up when I'm down or calm me down when I'm agitated. No other artist can do that for me.

I have seen Taylor at 3 concerts so far and he ROCKS the house!!! I was in Orland when 22,00 people (most were NOT Taylor fans) were Taylorized. Men, teenagers and fans of all ages went crazy for Taylor.
He is here to stay..... he is breaking away from the "top-pop hit-maket machinne" and is cutting a new path into the music industry. He is a great artist and you will hear more and more Taylor as time goes by.

What is the title and is Just to Feel That way the single or the title to his album. I must have missed his tour here . I do have a friend who wanted me to go with her when he came here on tour....now I wish I had. Thanks Melody.

Taylor has his CD out now and it's self titled "Taylor Hicks". If you buy it from Walmart it has a bonus track of a song from one of his self produced CD's called "Hell Of A Day" and it's great. One of my all time favorites. His self produced CD's are "Under The Radar" and "In Your Time". I think the only place you can get "In Your Time" right now is at the concerts. He is suppose to re-release those songs I hear. "Under The Radar" is available at the concerts and an online store. I have every song on my IPOD. It gets me moving. If you ever get a chance to see him you should go. I go to a lot of concerts and he is right up there at the top of my list. I can't wait to see him again this summer. Hope you will love his music as much as we do. You can listen to all the music at graycharles.com I think.

It looks like the Taylor Hicks fanclub found this board LOL Sorry I didn't see your post when I made the same observation. As to loners comment, any one can post here as long as they follow the board's rules. It's a great board. Go into Music News. There's a Taylor post over there too that you can keep bumped. Clay Aikens fans have already worn several posts out over him. It's like the AI competition never ends. I really ought to write a book about the AI fandome. I get it that we need to see Taylor live to appreicate him. I can say that about dozens of artists. Thanks.

I really like the song- I hope it does well- I wished he would have sang it when he first started doing rounds when the album came out- it's a good song. It's a "numbers" racket around here- even if you sell a million, you're a "flop" it seems- so don't take naysayers too seriously.

I hope this song does well and the label releases the Diane Warren penned "Places I've Been." That song is quickly becoming one of my favorites by her with a lyric that just soars. It's AC magic but maybe almost too good for the radio.

I like this song and I like the cd. I liked Taylor on the show also though so maybe that makes my opinion invalid? *shrug*
I'd like to see The Right Place or The Maze (I know - how far apart ARE those songs haha) released next. The Maze, if radio could get over that it's Taylor Hicks, could do very well on POP radio - along with A/C and Hot A/C imo. It's very Jason Mrazish - and Taylor kills on it live.
I also saw him in concert and he was great. I agree that if more people saw concert footage from the current tour and watched with an open mind, they might find themselves actually enjoying him and his music - but then again that's the last thing some people would want happen to them due to preconceived notions haha
