Really excited to hear this. "It Feels Good" should have been a big hit, it was one of the more fresh sounding songs. Hopefully opening up for Zac Brown Band will bring him some more exposure.

I'm surprised no one has posted about this song since it has been up on All Access and the CT 40 website. All I have to say is this song is way better than "It Feels Good". I found IFG to be kind of annoying. Love the layed back feel to this one. I don't think LTD will be a huge hit but I could see it doing better than IFG.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this one will go T20. Fun tune that gets stuck in your head!

"Livin' The Dream" is the third most added song on MB this week with 35 adds, on impact day.

I'm really hoping this can get his album out, I'm very interested in hearing a full album from him I think he has amazing potential just none of the singles have really shown it yet.

I love Drake White! Seeing him live definitely made me a fan of his. I saw him a total of 3 times in October when he opened for Little Big Town and he was amazing. This guy is the total package. He's got the talent, looks, and personality to make it big in the business. His live show is incredibly high-energy and the guy can flat out sing. I was blown away by his vocals each and every time and truly looked forward to seeing him perform at every show.
Oh, and this song is pretty good too haha. A little boring on first listen, but I think it has potential to grow on me. I can't remember if he was singing this song live when I saw him or not- I think he started performing it after the shows I went to.

I love Drake White. At first the song sounded kinda, there. But it is another rocking track from him. Can't wait to the time when he releases a full album.

"Livin' The Dream" is really getting helped out by some big market stations. Denver, Minneapolis and Houston (the three top spinners for "Livin' The Dream") have accounted for nearly 1.0 million of Drake's audience -- this song could have easily charted in Billboard Airplay's top 60 getting spun on those stations, alone. Its now in the Billboard top 50 (#46) and this one looks to be top 40 bound and has a good shot to out-peak "It Feels Good."

Eh, he's 0 for 3 for me so far. I want to like Drake as I do think he has talent, I just haven't been able to get into anything of his. "The Simple Life" was boring, "It Feels Good" was just horrible, and now we're back to bland and boring with "Livin' The Dream". Sorry Drake.

"Livin' The Dream" was written by Tom Douglas, Jaren Johnston and Luke Laird.
According to the article in Billboard, the song was considered by a few artists in Nashville, including Dierks Bentley. Scott Borchetta thought the song would be a perfect match for Drake's voice and Drake decided to record it.
Ross Copperman and Jeremy Stover produced the track.

My local iheart station played this today which is odd since I usually don't hear them play non top-20 songs unless it's a countdown show (yeah, they blow chunks).

I know this one isn't the most original, but there's just something I like about Drake White. I had a chance to see him perform live and he was great, his show had a ton of energy. The way he sings this song makes it stand out over the rest of the songs on the radio. Please let this be the song to break this guy out, he needs to be a star IMO.

Not to get too off-topic here, but you and .indulgecountry should give this a listen: This was my favorite song of all the ones he performed live. He's an incredible vocalist. I've been longing for a studio of this one.

There's just something about it that keeps me from loving it or really enjoying it. He just doesn't do much of anything for me.

The lyrics for this one aren't special (at least to me) but there's just something infectious about the melody and Drake's vocals. I know his voice can be off-putting to some but I think it works great on this song.
Interesting that he didn't write it either. The song came across Scott Borchetta's radar and he immediately thought that Drake would be a perfect match for it. I know I brought that up earlier but I believe White writes almost all of his material.

Interesting...all of the sudden (like, today is the first time I noticed), both Billboard and Country Aircheck are referring to Drake as "Drake White & The Big Fire" (not on the charts, but in write-ups). The Big Fire is Drake's band name, but I haven't seen any publications reference it until now. The press release announcing Zac Brown Band's Black Out The Sun Tour (for which Drake is the opener) also said "Drake White & The Big Fire", rather than just "Drake White".

Maybe they'll do what Universal South did with Jonathan Singleton (& the Grove).

Hopefully those adds can help. This one is going to have a tough time surviving all these big time releases.

I loved that the video was from the dog's eye view (ahhh the memories!)
Great video, hopefully it helps the song. It is time for him to become a big name.

I'm still stubbornly hoping that "Livin' The Dream" as I really want to hear a Drake White album. Unfortunately, Drake White has only gained 15 spins in the past 6 days and only 156k in audience so the go for this song is still going slow and Drake White is going to be on week 23 this Monday.
I do wonder if Drake can soon get into the Top 30, mainly because I can't find many recurrent songs that can help "Livin' The Dream" out, as literally everyone (that's not in freefall) in the Top 30 is just not ready to leave. Maybe some of the songs charting a long time give up (Willaim Michael Morgan, David Nail, Canaan Smith) but even then I only see Canaan leaving soon (that I have doubts with too) , this chart clog is taking a big effect on a lot of songs as we only have 1 song falling right now on Billboard ("Think Of You") so the chart clog is in full effect and I have a bad feeling that Drake White is probably going to be one of the first victims within the next month. I hope I'm wrong but the only way Drake White is moving up is through other songs leaving and there's not many of those so it's not looking good.
