It probably won't match the explosiveness of the Note 7. Bet you're real happy with yourself right about now, huh?

$160 for a pair of wireless AirPods? You ffking kidding?
It doesn't look like it will take much to lose those things. Ya'll better have a few hundred bucks saved up just for annual replacement costs.

wait are they called airpods or earpods? Airpods are the new wireless ones; Earpods are the ones that are packaged with iPhones now.

Actively, actively hate this. I have bluetooth headphones already and they're fine, but I like using cheap earbuds for the gym so that I'm not ruining anything expensive. Will probably stick with my iPhone 6 for awhile now.
Also, the headphones Apple gives you with the iPhone are terrible. They do not stay in my ear, the sound is not great, and after wearing them for awhile, the inside of my ear hurts. So I can't think of anything worse than these airpods.
I'm all for technological innovation, but I'm also for letting people have options. Introduce these things, but then also let people have a headphone jack. This is stupid.

Sh*t like this worked when Apple used the iPod Touch and iPhone to make touch screens and smartphones ubiquitous. Now that they're not the only big dog anymore, this is not the best of business moves. It is gutsy though, but I'm not certain Mr. Jobs would've made the same decision.

If I worked for Apple, I would say no to the new Airpods and keep the headphone jack.

These sh!ts look awful, just awful. What brain went behind this idea? I'm seriously puzzled on this release. And with this price, Apple has nerves and beyond to expect people to drop their dollars on this non-effort mess of a product. It is just awful.
It is already bad enough,Apple has one of the worst headphones out there and to follow up with this crap. I can't. I won't. I will not. At all.

Well, they'll finally drive me to Samsung when it's time for my next phone. I love my Galaxy S7 Edge Anyways, I was debating waiting for this phone when I was doing my initial upgrade and I'm so glad I didn't. How many iPhones have been saved from destruction because of the headphones in the jack? A hefty amount; the sheer lack of practicality of this could possibly hinder it's performance after the initial splashy debut. I'm gonna make the prediction that they'll bring the headphone jack for the 7S model.

A suit was just filed today against Samsung for an S7 Edge catching on fire as well. I think getting rid of the headphone jack is a pointless move because it presents no benefit with its loss (I don't count the phone being water-proof as a benefit because other phone companies have done that AND kept the jack), but its whatever for me. My phone is pretty much always connected to a Bluetooth sound system at home or through the lighting port in my car, I never really use the jack.

It's never a good idea to upgrade to the new OS as soon as it is released because all sorts of bad shit can go down.

I have had an Android for the last couple of years. I did go through a flip phone phase for a bit after I stopped using my last iPhone.

Although I probably will regret it, I ordered an iPhone 7 last week, and I got it in the mail today. I will set it up tomorrow and post a brief review after having used it a few days and will be interested to see other board members' reviews. My plan is to keep the headphone adapter attached to the nice lightweight Bose headphones at all times, as I refuse to part ways with my headphones because of a bloody phone, lol.

I'm probably going to get the 7 actually. I still use an iPod, so the headphone jack isn't a huge removal for me.
The jet black one looks so legit.

my pre-ordered iphone is not coming till October I'm still not sure about the no head-phone jack, but I'll adjust soon enough I guess. I know I'm going to lose that stupid adapter a million times..

Looks like they may be killing off the headphone jack on Macbooks soon too...
