I like this! Some really nice melodic bits (the Drake snippet we'd already heard; "don't leave me stuck here in the streets" in verse 2).

I like it, very breezy, dancehall yet modern jam. definitely will kill it on Rhy/Urban radio.

Maybe it'll grow on me, but as of now I don't like it at all. All I could think while listening was, she made us wait almost a year for this?? 'Bitch Better Have My Money' and even 'American Oxygen' were better. She sounds awful, and her diction is worse than Ariana and Sia combined. At least Drake's verse is decent. Thanks, thought I was the only one not stanning it.

On first listen I really like this, and it is the most instant single from this project so far, barring BBHMM.
Also, on a somewhat unrelated note, yes at calling the love for "Stay" out. It's overrated and is one of my least favorites from her.

Guess I was thinking this youtu.be/NO-hyVbIRBs was Rihanna when it's someone called Tinashe, lol. Sounds a million times better than that iTunes preview I just suffered thru. It's right up there with The Dirty Bit for me.

The iTunes preview is decent. I like the instrumental. It's all better than BBHMM and American Oxygen. #11 on Irish iTunes

I don't care how messy and drawn out this campaign has been, I'm always excited for new RiRi. Yeah nevermind this is terrible. the vocals are unbearable and the hook is laughable.

I was SO excited when my local Top 40 station said they were premiering it only for it to cut off after 37 seconds. I was pissed thinking it was a publicity trick. I liked it instantly. They got it playing shortly after and both my friend and I liked it. She's harder to impress than I am with new music. I Love the song and am not disappointed. i did notice the slurrying but it didn't bother me. Though I did think it may bother some. I like Drakes part and almost wish it was more of a duet. They work well together. I'm happy it's not some dreary experimental song or a dreary ballad like "American Oxygen. All they morning show hosts etc seemed to really like it. In my opinion it sounds like a crossover hit.

#7 now. I personally love the slurring vocal effect, but i'm a fan of more rhythmic/urban leaning music. The structure of the verses is a little odd for a top 40 song, but I'm not complaining.

I didn't think it was anything special on the first listen. That's not saying it's bad, but it'll have to grow on me a bit.

Wow, this song is brilliant! Has potential to be over 200 million AI in a couple months! I think pop radio will love it, rhythmic and urban too.
Will be a massive club hit too, I know that for certain.

I personally think its perfect for Top 40. Definitely in the same lane as What Do You Mean? and should do decently internationally. Sooo glad someone talked some sense into this girl. Shout out to CROWN. :)

Work is further proof they didn’t try to make AO happen for no reason… AO >> Work. It’s just another song she’s released that could be used as a harmless album track… That’s all… I’m so over R8. Everything I’ve heard from this album so far varies from lackluster to mediocre… I hope she finally gets her s*** together and starts recording quality tunes 4 R9 like… tomorrow.

Miles better than all three singles that have been released so far. With that said, I'm not too sure if I'm sold on it.

I like it. I don't love it yet, but it's better than the other three songs in my opinion, and it will most likely be a bigger hit.

This is going to KILL at Urban and Rhythmic. I need to get drunk so I can act as if I've deciphered the slurs because that patois is thick.

I wasn't feeling her enunciation on first listen but I was hooked by the second. Love the breezy feeling of the production and, like Kurt pointed out, it has its melodic parts. It's going to KILL it on Rhythmic and Urban. Let's see about Pop. I just hope they don't take too long with Spotify.

Hhmmm... First listen: not impressed at all. Don't even feel like listening to it again. I find it monotonous and boring. Sung in a way that sounds as if she didn't want to be there singing. Interesting choice to launch finally the album. I know very little about urban radio. I guess that's what she's targeting?? I don't see this being loved by the pop audience. And worldwide smash? Even worse! I'm in no rush in getting this single before the album. Up to a few weeks back I was planning to buy the album regardless because that's what I do with Rihanna. I get the album right away without having to listen to it first. This time I'm starting to doubt I'll buy the album. After those 4 singles... I didn't LOVE any of them. I didn't hate them either, but it was more like a middle-of-the-road reaction the four times. If that's what they have to entice people to buy the album, I have really low expectations for the rest.... I know eventually I'll get it... but my enthusiasm for it is almost non existent right now.

Her enunciation is as bad as Sia's in this, but this is still really solid.. Hopefully this smashes!
