The Macedonia woman sounds like she's possessed by demons. That was uh interesting.

Dami SMASHED it. Plz don't be another Iceland~
Donny was okay. Nicky Bryne sounded rough, doubtful Ireland will qualify based on that.
I would care about Denmark if they'd had Anja Nissen representing them, but they don't so whatevs~

I really hope Albania can scrape through, I know their chances aren't good but Eneda sang the hell out of it.

I'm pretty content with how the semi's turned out this year. Really looking forward to the final.

Final will be interesting, yes. So happy that Latvia and Lithuania got through, go The Baltics! And also Bulgaria (their 2nd final ever)

I'd have swapped out Georgia and Poland for Norway and Albania but for me, mostly the right songs got sent packing.

I would rather had Slovenia, Denmark and Norway instead of Poland, Israel and Georgia/Belgium. So overall I will like 18 entries in the final. Quite a good amount!

It wasn't a strong semi-final for me but I'm glad none of the songs/performances I disliked made it to the final. I'd love to see Norway instead of Belgium though and Denmark would be nice instead of Georgia. I love just 5-6 songs in the final and like about 8. Last year was amazing and much better. :/

Yeah I would probably swap Iceland, Albania and Norway for Poland, Israel, and I guess Croatia? But nothing's ever perfect. I'm not big on Georgia or Cyprus either but I can appreciate them adding variety.

Such a shame that ALL the Nordic countries (except the host Sweden obv) failed to qualify. Glad that Latvia and Lithuania got through though
My favourites tonight are Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine and France.

My favorites: 1. Belgium 2. The Netherlands 3. Latvia 4. Australia 5. Austria
Realistic top five: 1. Russia 2. Australia 3. France 4. Ukraine 5. Armenia, I guess ??
I love the French entry and like the Armenian song too, so it wouldn't be so bad.

I don't think I'm going to love this year's winner. The songs I love rarely come anywhere near the top, but realistically, this is all about the spectacle. The results are fun to watch because the presentation of them is just as overblown as the competition itself, but the actual rankings feel so low on the priority list, even for a chart fan like me.

Seeing us with such a big lead I hope it's only a minimal impact 'cause how AWESOME would that be for us.

I like how well Malta is doing, but I'd like to see them finish a bit higher.

I like how well Malta is doing, but I'd like to see them finish a bit higher. I expected both Malta and Sweden to be showing up in more countries' results than they have been... though those last juries were quite kind to both, so now they're positionally closer to where I figured. I've been happy that Georgia has gotten some decent points to hang in the middle of the pack. The song clearly was never going to be in contention to win, but it's one of my favorites. Would be shocking if this huge of an Australian lead didn't hold up.
