Aside the latest pictures Calvin Harris has posted on his social media in the studio, there isn't too much information about his upcoming fifth album, which could be out sometime this year. Some days before the end of 2015, he posted the following picture.
Clearly, he was talking about himself and this could suggest that something is coming this year.
Also, there's an article from Forbes which mentions that this may happen as well.
This one isn't a certainty, but signs point to a new album coming this year. Harris is the world's highest-paid DJ, and his singles perform very well on charts around the well. He released the single "How Deep Is Your Love" this past summer, a song that doesn't appear on his last album... which probably means that it's on the next one, and that such a project is underway. We can at least expect to hear more from a new collection at some point this year.
Calvin Harris hates interviews and says he can't dance or sing. But who cares when you're the world's highest-paid DJ at an estimated $400,000 a gig? The Scot reckons his success is down to pure luck, but anyone who has heard "We Found Love," his huge hit single featuring Rihanna, knows that Harris has an uncanny talent for a catchy tune.
His trademark: Business savvy. For years he was remixing for other musicians, such as Florence + The Machine, and instead of payment he would ask to visit the studio. That’s how he’s been able to lace ohis singles with vocals from folks like Rihanna.
What can we learn from him? Success, often invovles a lot of patience to go along with that long-term plan.
Cool: Models and pop goddesses can't get enough of him. He's dated Rita Ora and Anne Vyalitsyna and is currently linked to Taylor Swift.
Uncool: Posing as an underwear model for Giorgio Armani and saying that he's trying not to be a Justin.
Calvin posted a picture on his Snapchat today of him in the studio with John Newman!
Looks like he's working with Ellie Goulding again as well!
I wouldn't rule that out too, although Calvin was telling her why she doesn't have Snapchat and how she was racking up the followers on Instagram. LOL!
Anyway, Theo Hutchcraft from Hurts could be added as well. He was with John Newman on Calvin's studio a week before the latter was again there. Also, I think BURNS too, but I'm not too confident about this yet.

John Newman appears again on Calvin's Snapchat, as well as Oliver Heldens, Dizzee Rascal and BURNS. The four of them were in his studio (dubbed as Calvin's lab as far as I remember) and it could be seen the former in the singer's cabin. Also, he was playing the piano.
As a side note, I <3 when Oliver was making a rendition of "Acceptable In the 80's". It was hilarious.
Does anyone know if Calvin will sing on any future tracks or is that a thing of the past?
Calvin will countinue to sing on any future song if and only if he thinks that his voice suits the track. This is the main reason why he has sung a couple of them after he (literally) said that he was quitting singing back in 2010 when he stopped doing live shows in favour of DJ sets.

Oliver posted the pic below on his social media and besides the people mentioned before, Emil Nava and Mark Gillespie were there, as well as Tyson O'Brien (aka. Generik), who appeared on Oliver's Snapchat.
I'm so ready for album 5. Yes at working with Oliver Heldens - that has promise.
Please no Taylor collab. Just be a couple and keep separate music lanes please.
Albie's Top 5:
