"Slay from Home" more like it. :'( I need this to be their first top 10 hit in the US.
This has taken off very well in the UK but is meant to be a US only single. Their label better not pass up on an easy hit with this here...

This has a better first-7-days bullet than Rihanna's "Work" did, and has already outpeaked "BO$$" (almost accomplished in one day) and "Miss Movin' On", and should be passing "Sledgehammer" by the end of next week. Queens :'( On that note, I really like the song. I found "Worth It" pretty annoying, but this is hot. Ty Dolla $ign's verse is cool. As for the video, I wish Camilla would just embrace her popularity and go solo already. Not because I'm anticipating her solo work, she is just an obvious outlier in the group and the other girls can spin circles around her in nearly every aspect. Her "sexy" moves in the video were cringe-worthy and her voice still irritates me. Otherwise, it was great, although I still wish Lauren had more to do, since she's probably my favorite. WHoever manages them clearly has a boner for Camilla. She's the Diana Ross, someone distinctive but with mesual talent. I agree. Get the White Cracker dancer out of here.

I guess this won't be negatively affected by coming after Rihanna after all! Good for them. I can't remember where now but I came across an article on them a while back where a couple of the girls (Normani and Dinah, I think) admitted that while they all still had a lot they wanted to accomplish as 5H, a breakup is inevitable because they all started out as solo singers and have different goals. I feel like we will get one more album after 7/27 and then they will split. I have never cared for when a label tries to push just one person to the front of a group, but pushing Camila wouldn't be quite so annoying if they would do it in a way that felt more natural for the type of singer and performer she is. She's attractive, but not really a sexpot, so it always feels off when she attempts it. And while her tone isn't for me, it is distinctive and has its qualities. So I'd like them to be more mindful of that when handing out parts and setting the keys for songs. They need to keep her far, far away from any riffs.

Debuts at #23 in the UK. The best part was when the chart presenter started singing Gotta Get Thru This on top of it

I do, just need to wait for promo to kick in and radio pick up. I think it will be like Good For You: debut, fall a bit for a while, then go back up again

I am onboard with this its a bop.
I played it for my Boyfriend and he was like not big on it for the first bit and trashed it. Then after a minute he was I changed my mind this is actually a bop.
He hates work so maybe the other song and another work song made his first impression bad.
I hope this takes off does this sample Daniel Beddingfields I Gotta Get Through this because I noticed that right away. Sorry if this is common knowledge I just don't have time to scroll or investigate...

I didn't even notice the Daniel Beddingfield sample lol and I love "Gotta Get Thru This". I do hear it now is, it a hair slower in this song?
On a sidenote I heard their song "Like Mariah" (sorry if titles wrong) in DSW last night.

It's nice to see a community of people where this song is loved after watching the SpectrumPulse review of it on this week's Billboard Breakdown and all the negative comments on it there.

OK so I finally got around to listening to this.
I absolutely love the melody. But I'm going to echo the sentiment of those who can't deal with having both "Work" and this together - that feels more naturally put together than this does.

Do we know who sings each verse and/or chorus? Unless the video is lying, it's: Camila - Verse 1 Normani - Prechorus 1 Ally - Verse 2 Dinah - Prechorus 2 Chorus seems to feature all of them, but I feel like Camila and Lauren seem most prominent depending on where you listen.

So, I was thinking. A performance of this could be hawt, no? That Regis and Kelly performance I posted earlier was a mess.
