I'm happy for this song doing so well I want Write On Me as 2nd single Really good song for pop and very pleasant for summer. The lyrics are good, the vocals are good, it already has a nice video. And the light tropical beat feel is nice on the chorus Hope there album is good.

Work it! I liked there performance last night. Only one of them who she sang the low part for a quick solo didn't sound that good. Each performance I see of them they get better. They work very hard and you can tell.

Work From Home #1 at Pop today which is Sunday means it is official for the week on Mediabase . it just missed out last week hitting #1 on Monday which was good enough for Billboard who's cut off was Monday for their Pop chart . they should get an official 2nd week there tomorrow. as for Mediabase a 2nd week will be close as the Chainsmokers are gaining faster.

New peak of No. 4 on the Hot 100. Now if they could just strip Tate Stevens of his 2012 X-Factor title, that would just be perfect.

I'm so glad this one went all the way to #1! Love it! So happy for these girls & how far they've come! Is "All in My Head (Flex)" the next single?

Dr. Luke apparently ghost produced this: STEALTH TACTICS: Most believed Dr. Luke’s longtime production client Katy Perry represented his last chance of making a comeback. His Kemosabe label deal at Sony has been mostly unsuccessful, the Kesha scandal was a terrible look and his supposedly questionable business practices and alleged mistreatment of people he’s worked with have alienated him from many with whom he’d done business over the years. Thus, his career appears to be cratering, at least on the surface. Given these issues, no one was surprised to learn that Perry had tapped Max Martin to produce her official Olympics theme single “Rise.” But if you believe the whispering campaign initiated by Luke’s few remaining supporters, his pubco writers are deeply involved with the Perry album project, and he played a role in negotiating the deal between Perry and NBC. These same sources claim Luke has also been “ghost producing” as a result of essentially being blacklisted, notably Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home,” on which he supposedly took a major chunk of the publishing. Will he be resourceful enough to keep his career going despite all the negativity surrounding him?

No big deal, we've always known Dr Luke would find a way to continue working.

Sounds like something he'd produce so this isn't exactly the most schocking news to hear.

The issue isn't at all that it's surprising. These rumors date back to when the song first came out - it sounds like a Dr. Luke song, plus it credits known Luke associate/collaborator Ammo as the official producer.
The issue people are taking is more with the group itself (the girls and the team behind them). A) They worked with this guy at a time when you're not supposed to. B) They're a *girl power* girl group that worked with this guy. C) If they indeed worked with him, they attempted to hide that fact, indicating that they know it's wrong but wanted to profit off his hit-making ability anyway. Lauren (and possibly some of the others) openly supported #FreeKesha, making this look more hypocritical.
It's obviously not some huge scandal or anything, and it definitely helps that the song is no longer active. Still, it's not a *good* look for Fifth Harmony (or for whichever team members made the call to work with him).
