Cheap Thrills: 6/10 without Sean Paul, 3/10 with Sean Paul (nothing against him, but he doesn't fit here)
Ride: 10/10 (not my favorite song of the year or anything but I am so happy something like this is in the Top 10)
Send My Love (To Your New Lover): 8/10 (I actually like this much much more than "Hello", I hope this is a warmup before "Water Under The Bridge", I really hope it is the next single though)
Cold Water: 8/10 (I appreciate it when Bieber actually sounds like he's singing instead of mumbling)
This Is What You Came For: 7/10 (I hated this when I heard it first but it really grew on me)
Treat You Better: 2/10 but in a good way, because this is hilariously bad, just please, don't shove domestic violence here
Into You: 10/10 (songs I give 10s are not necessarily masterpieces, but the songs I am most happy to see charting in the top 20, and I am so happy this ended up being a hit)
Closer: 9/10 (I just love this)
Don't Let Me Down: 7/10 (their weakest hit this year, but it's still decent)
Never Be Like You: 6/10 (i have nothing to say about this, it's not bad but i just never cared about it)
Too Good: 6/10 (not bad but I will always subconsciously compare it to superior "Take care")
We Don't Talk Anymore: 4/10 (just boring)
CAN'T STOP THE FEELING!: 7/10 (good but not what I'd want from him)
Gold: 8/10 (i am not sure if I should even grade it, it's just so weird I don't know what to compare it to, I guess I like it, but... wtf is this?)
Sit Still, Look Pretty: 8/10 (she's decent, I won't mind this becoming a hit)
Needed Me: 8/10 (I really hated this when it became hit instead of Kiss It Better, even though KIT is still superior, I kinda started appreciating this)
This Girl: no/10 (this sounds good but it bothers me on a different scale than musical quality, it feels very empty, nothing but a background noise, it's like treating "Songbird" by Kenny G as a legitimate charting song)
Heathens: 7/10 (when I heard it for the first time I liked it more than "Ride" but it got old fast, it feels kinda forced and the stigma of a movie song does not help at all)
Let Me Love You: 8/10 (Bieber is better on this song than on "Cold Water", but DJ Snake using the same drop in his 3rd hit song after TDFW and LO just feels redundant)
Make Me: 4/10 (chorus ruins this song, it's one of the worst hooks I've heard in pop music in recent years)
Mama Said: 1/10 (good use of sample, good production, too much bragging and douchiness, I think I hate this)
i hate u, i love u: 2/10 (potentially good emotional song ruined by dull piano that drags both singers down)
Hymn for the Weekend: 10/10 (I loved this from the very first moment I heard this and I just know it will soon slow down on Billboard and start falling down before becoming a hit, it's going to be so heartbreaking)
Starving: 7/10 (nothing spectacular really)
Rise: 1/10 (one of the blandest song I have ever heard in my entire life, even "Roar" sounds interesting compared to this, I am so incredibly happy it flopped)
All In My Head (Flex): 9/10 (i am honestly surprised this flopped though, it's Fifth Harmony's most consistent song to date)
For Free: 9/10 (I just love this for what it is)
LUV: 6/10 (what am I supposed to do with this, except for this guy's voice which sounds like a mix between Mike Posner and Chris Brown, there's literally nothing interesting in this song)
Scars to Your Beautiful: 6/10 (i don't think I am a big fan of her)
Unsteady: 7/10 (better than Renegades that's for sure, but that song will always remain a car commercial song for me)
Hasta El Amanecer: 7/10 (I am not an expert for Latin music, 90% of Latin songs sound the same for me, that's probably because of the beat)
Girls Like: 8/10 (surprisingly I like this a lot, I heard it on the radio many times before, it sounds more interesting than I remember)
You & Me: 5/10 (nothing interesting)
Don't Mind: 1/10 (nice beat, cringefest of the year)
The Sound: 10/10 (one of the best songs of the year)
Sucker for Pain: 8/10 (decent, but I won't care about it two months later, movie song stigma)
Me Too: 1/10 but I like it a lot (one of the worst songs of the year for sure, but it's such a beautiful M-tranwreck, she finally managed to dive into "so bad it's good" teritory, at least for me)
Capsize: 5/10 (if this song disappeared it wouldn't even notice)
Wild: 7/10 (I guess this is ok? i don't think it really works for me)
Bacon: 8/10 (why the hell do i like it)
Cool Girl: 6/10 (intriguing and unpleasant at the same time, I appreciate weird songs like this, might grow on me)
Controlla: 7/10 (decent but it still feels like an album track for me)
Better: 2/10 (she does not have charisma to pull off a smooth song like this, not her worst, but her least interesting single to date)
Crash: 9/10 (this is fantastic and it should have been a big hit)
Greenlight: 7/10 (fantastic hook, nothing more)
All Time Low: 8/10 (this definetely sounds very interesting)
Millionaire: 5/10 (I heard it for the first time and I will probably forget this by tomorrow)
Be As You Are: 8/10 (yeah, only remix works for me)
Kiss the Sky: 8/10 (I actually like how this sounds, would be a great late summer hit if not the "I just wanna f*ck you baby" part)
Give It Up: 5/10 (I don't care about this at all)
