But why does such a good song have to be so short? Song length is a big thing for me. Dance Disco music should be always in extended. Rock/Hard/Glam/ should be long enough to feature a good guitar solo and Alt/Indie/Pop should have have an intro that gets right into the good stuff and song length , that gets it's point across. This song throws the good stuff at the listener from intro to outro and there is no denying you feel satisfied at the end.

This song made me write an overly long thread starter about changing the state of alternative music. I was so confused to "Trip Switch" because it wasn't what the rest of the chart was, sure enough, people were happy to hear that sound again, this song is he same deal, and in turn look for a few more active-leaning BANDS (not acts) to start moving up the chart too. I think people are done with folk and electronica, and that's coming from someone who enjoys both, but it's a matter of time before people get tired of "hey! woah-oh-ah, ahh ahh ahh's," and beeps and boops. This sound is coming back.

I like Phantogram, but that is straight pop. New Bastille will be forgotten by the Fall,

I think Alt is doing a pretty good job of balancing musical styles right now, except for straight Active, but there's an entire format for that
It's not like pop which hits an entire genre exclusively until people are sick of it

:( hoping they'll attempt a third single, it would be criminal to leave the album at only two with so many great choices.

Honey Whiskey is still my favorite song in the album- hoping they might consider it for a third single

Itch, or Graveyard Whistling, or If I Get High. This album deserves a third single

I'm leaning more towards that we won't see a third single. "Wake Up Call" only has reached #19 on Alternative I believe. Having a third single probably not reach the Top 30 may not be worth it for the record company to pursue. I really have to check out their album. I've loved both singles released so far.

Too soon for the record company to give up on them. think a third single to peak at a modest 20-30 slot, depending on the song they choose.

If I Get High, Graveyard Whistling, or Lover Please Stay would be my next choice for single 3. Shame this one didn't do more because it's grown on me a lot only recently.

It's harder for multiple singles from an album to hit the Top 10 with the logjam that always happens there. I guess I'm just disappointed that it's one of my more favorable songs on the chart and I expected almost as much success as "Trip Switch." I listened to their album on Friday. There are certainly a good amount of choices for a third single.

I think it's just that when stations see a song falling on the chart that's not continuing to get requests, they drop the song as well
