I'm not playing victim, just avoiding another chance for ridicule. But still, in that case, I'll just say it... All I really disliked about her is most of her discography before TTAL, and her look. Not really appealing imo, but regarding her work, I liked most everything starting with BMOLK. I'm also aware of her charitable work and her support for PETA (good for her), but there are some things she supports I'm not happy about, specifically LGBT. That's all, you don't like what I said, that's your own problem, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Disliking her discography/image has nothing to do with her personality. And as long as you therefore don't support ANY artist who supports LGBT, then well you're entitled to your own opinion as far as I'm concerned.

Also a great number of posters here, including many you interact with, support or are part of the LGBT community. You're obviously free to your own opinions but I'm not seeing much consistency with that one.

Forget about it, I shouldn't have brought it up... No, we won't forget about it! That's a pretty big claim to make on a board that's predominantly LGBT or supporters of the community. We're actually very genuinely curious! You could just simply not like the way she handles the support or something for all we know. Right now conclusions are being made about you that may not be accurate! Seriously, we really want to know.

Also a great number of posters here, including many you interact with, support or are part of the LGBT community. I am VERY aware of that, which is why I've been careful around liking and commenting around posts like those I see around the board, specifically in the RT thread. And it's true, I do not support the LGBT community, nor do I agree with everything happening regarding what's been happening with bisexuals and transgenders, but I am not a homophobe at all as some of you have been hinting at me. Ever since I joined this forum, I've noticed quite a lot of you are supporters of the LGBT, but instead of judging you all based on that, I've been judging you all on your actions around others here. If I am truly a homophobe, I'd hate you all just for being gay, but I don't. I'll also say I don't like a majority of you all's sexual talk around here too, but sometimes I play along around it to try and be involved. Regarding P!nk and the original post, I definitely misspoke when I said personality in the original post. Had I not said that, this wouldn't be happening. Also, regarding her support for LGBT, I specifically disliked her viewpoint on marriage as she views all forms of marriage just being called a marriage instead of a 'gay' marriage or something like that. Growing up, and still today, I view it solely as it being between a man and a woman. That's pretty much all I hate about her support for LGBT. Regarding other artists supporting LGBT, my level of dislike varies, but I'm not going to take up any more time on that. You hate me after reading this, fine, I don't care, but these are my opinions. If you want to ask me more questions about all this, PM me and I'll respond there, but please no more questions here so we don't go any further off topic.

He hates our "lifestyle", but he joins in our dirty talk to feel accepted. Guys, we shouldn't be upset with him, we should pity him - if the only company you keep is that that consists of people you disagree with on a fundamental level, that makes you extraordinarily pathetic. In any case, basic song but I can see this getting decent airplay levels. Nothing major, but I think this might scrape the top 20 on CHR.

42 on the Hot 100.
Does anyone know where it placed on Digital Songs? I'd guess just outside the top 10 after the Prince invasion.

That's all, you don't like what I said, that's your own problem, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Claiming to not post because you don't want to be ridiculed is victimizing yourself. If you do suspect someone is following you around and ridiculing you, they're trolling and you should report that, not complain about it in a post after someone was simply curious of your opinion. Speaking of your opinion, I'm genuinely curious about a few things. Why are you against her support of the LGBTQ community? Also, why do you support her for supporting PETA? That's actually one thing I dislike as I view PETA as an extremist view of animal rights. Clearly, I'm against animal abuse of any type, but PETA goes too far, like getting angry at Obama for swatting at a fly during one of his speeches. Just a few questions. I personally love her look and sound pre-TTAL, but to each their own. I agree with everything in this post... followed PETA for a while (a few years ago) and realized they are just too much. And regarding artists who support the LGBTQ community, there are so many of them and they speak so openly about their opinions, especially in recent years. I can't imagine a pop fan against this - must be very hard, unless you just ignore it and simply enjoy their music.

Ok so I was NOT expecting to open this up and find a discussion about how someone dislikes Pink because she supports the LGBT+ community LOL. I mean, out of all the reasons to dislike Pink, and I actually think there are a few valid ones (she has been messy on twitter about other subject matters). Anyway, I am sure this song will do well, but its boring, bland, and she can do better.
Oh and by the way, PETA is actually awful and NOT about the animals. If you care about animals, then research all the ways PETA is terrible and get involved in other programs. There is the Humane Society, but even better many, many local animal welfare groups that need support. I work with two in Georgia and one in Alabama writing grants and we are ALWAYS desperate for literally any type of help.

If you want to ask me more questions about all this, PM me and I'll respond there, but please no more questions here so we don't go any further off topic. Allow me to just sliiiiide in here real quick, because so much of your thinking is just way too problematic. You can have your opinions, and you can be against same-sex marriage. That's fine. (Well, it's "fine" in the sense that you're entitled to your own opinion, though it is socially outdated and finally, rightfully oppressed by the law of the land.) But, you are homophobic. I don't say that as slanderous; I say it because your opinion fits the textbook definition of what "homophobe" means. "Homophobia encompasses a range of negative attitudes and feelings toward homosexuality or people who are identified or perceived as being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT)." As per your post above that I've quoted, you "do not support the LGBT community, nor do [you] agree with everything happening regarding what's been happening with bisexuals and transgenders." For you and people with similar opinions as yours, your hesitation to progress with society puts you beneath the overarching blanket term, "homophobic." That word has developed an incredibly negative stigma, and understandably so, but it's not to say that your opinion is wrong. It's just an opinion that isn't popular, and for good reasoning: it's oppressive and it's offensive. As for the whole "marriage" vs. "gay marriage" fiasco? Words are words, and you can have your opinions on that, but when a gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender person dies, is it a "gay death?" When a gay couple purchases a cake for their wedding, is it a "gay cake?" When a transgender woman buys clothing from a regular retail store, are the clothes suddenly "trans clothes?" No, no, and no. All people die, lots of people buy cake, and just about everyone on God's green earth buys clothing. The issue with your line of thinking, and the types of opinions that you carry, is that they further radicalize issues that really don't call for being blown out of proportion. Unfortunately, society has granted us thousands of years of heteronormativity, thus making things that range from marriage to whether a t-shirt is "meant for boys or girls" to buying a freaking cake from a bakery into political extravaganzas, just because ...a freaking gay person wants to spend his or her money on it. (Please note that the money they are spending is also the same money that everyone else spends, too. We don't have special gay currency, although wouldn't it be so fun to see Cher on a nickel or something like that?) I'm not sorry for not PMing your about it. If you didn't want to derail this thread with your political opinion, you shouldn't have done it in the first place.
