I came across a video on YouTube where someone compiled the "100 best songs of all time" starting from 1950 all the way to 2013.
So I thought it would be fun to make a poll with the 100 songs they added on the video (whether we agree with the list or not) and do some sort of eliminatory competition, where we will eventually end up with the best song from the 100 included.
We will do 10 groups of 10 songs each, and the top 2 from every group will move on to the next round.
Note: In case of a tie, as we saw in the first and sixth groups, three songs will move on to the next round.
GROUP ONE WINNERS: - Gotye Feat. Kimbra- "Somebody That I Used to Know" - OneRepublic- "Apologize" - Jeff Buckley- "Hallelujah" Voters: 49
GROUP TWO WINNERS: - Beyoncé feat. Jay-Z- "Crazy In Love" - Mariah Carey- "We Belong Together" Voters: 48
GROUP THREE WINNERS: - Adele- "Someone Like You" - Irene Cara- "What A Feeling" Voters: 45
GROUP FOUR WINNERS: - ABBA- "Dancing Queen" - Amy Winehouse- "Rehab" Voters: 38
GROUP FIVE WINNERS: - Eminem- "Lose Yourself" - Celine Dion- "My Heart Will Go On" Voters: 34
GROUP SIX WINNERS: - Michael Jackson- "Thriller" - Marvin Gaye- "Let's Get It On" - Elton John- "Your Song" Voters: 25
GROUP SEVEN WINNERS: - Aretha Franklin- "Respect" - Ben E. King- "Stand By Me" Voters: 26

I went with No Woman, No Cry (though I may be biased) and Stayin' Alive.
Is it weird that I don't find Wonderwall more than just a good song? Just gave it another shot to see if my mind would change, but nope.

Surprised not to see "Yesterday" doing better. The Beatles' aren't everyone's cup of tea, but this is undeniably the most perfect song every written
