dvsn is an R&B duo made up of singer Dan Daley and producer Nineteen85. They're on Drake's OVO Sound label. Their debut album came out earlier this year and is definitely worth listening to in full. My favorites are "Hallucinations," "Do It Well," "Too Deep," and "Angela" but honestly every track is stellar. They're also featured on Drake's new album Views on the track "Faithful."

Haven't had a chance to listen to their album yet, but I really enjoyed "Hallucinations" and I've heard nothing but good things about them. Will do soon!

It's a solid album. "Too Deep" is giving me late 90s R&B. Those harmonies are ridiculous. "Hallucinations" and "Do It Well" are great tracks.

A very solid album, indeed. They need to go ahead and give "Hallucinations" to Usher though.

"Too Deep" is giving me late 90s R&B. Yea! It's like Ginuwine meets Dru Hill.

Here's a solid article outlining the dvsn timeline and identity:

Can't wait! I was just bumping With Me and Hallucinations in my car wanting more from them. Jams! This is probably my most listened to album of the past year, in constant rotation since this time a year ago. I think over time my two favorites have become "With Me" and "In + Out."

A new single "Think About Me" was released today. It picks right up where the last album left off.
This (probably/hopefully) means we'll have a new album this summer.

Their sophomore album is titled "Morning After" and will be released this fall.
"Think About Me" is in my top 5 songs of 2017 and "Don't Choose" is great as well.

The album trailer is gorgeous.
Unfortunately the third song we've heard from this album, "Mood," is the first song by them that I'm not feeling at all.

Another beautiful and cohesive album from them. They're definitely my favorite current R&B act.

This is a major step up from their debut. While I'm not a huge fan of the singer's falsetto, this is a really nice album to vibe to. My faves are:
P.O.V. Mood Can't Wait You Do Nuh Time/Tek Time

Run Away came out of nowhere with that Timbaland-esque kick and snare combo! Pitchfork Review: dvsn: Morning After

I put this on last night at my friend's place in Brooklyn while he was wife and kid were asleep. We had about 3 pot brownies throughout the course of the day (before Blade Runner and then back at the apt). I was sold on this and needed to buy instantly. Need another undistracted, listen but I am feeling what you guys are feeling. Edit: Physical copy will be released in December so I will wait but I will still listen to it on Apple Music.

Morning After is so much better than the first one. P.O.V. sounds like something Jodeci would do if they were still active and the title track is a bop.

Think About Me is my new sex jam and this album overall is just dripping with sex. Good for smoking too. I love it.

Disappointing there was no follow-up to "Mood" after it went Top 5 Urban AC.

Disappointing there was no follow-up to "Mood" after it went Top 5 Urban AC. "Think About Me" (though it was technically the first single?) and the title track are both R&B smashes in a perfect world. But lbr, OVO never really backs their artists other than Drake himself.

I like the title track a lot, one of my favorites.
I also think P.O.V. is great. It's like an updated Jodeci sound for current times. It's probably not single material though.

I guess promo hasn’t ended after all. They just released a telenovela of a video for the title track.

New single from A Muse In Her Feelings, which is due out April 17th, with Snoh Aalegra. Samples Usher's "Nice & Slow".
This is my favorite of anything they've released after "Mood".

Third album A Muse In Her Feelings is out today. It features PARTYNEXTDOOR, Jessie Reyz, Future, Ty Dolla $ign, Buju Banton, Popcaan, Summer Walker, Snoh Aalegra, and Shantel May.
As much as I loved their first two albums, this one is almost completely disposable to me. They got caught up in the guest stars instead of artistry this time. Many of these songs sound cheap and lack the rich textures and strong hooks of their previous work, but I guess there are a few cute moments.

A Muse in Her Feelings is by far their best album yet. It improves on everything they needed to touch on in their two previous offerings. The general reception of the album has also been entirely positive. I hope that carries over to widespread critical acclaim.
