I was going to write something like this the other day. I think it's the best "forgotten" song in her catalog.

The Trolls song was written by Timberlake and Chris Stapleton.

Paak and Timberlake are back for the bubbly, gospel-tinged “Just Sing” and they’re aided vocally by the eclectic group of Clarkson, Blige, Anna Kendrick and Kenan Thompson. Later Clarkson truly shines in a rueful, banjo-led “Born to Die,” a Stapleton-Timberlake knockout. That pair also wrote a fiddle-filled, foot-stomper “Leaving Lonesome Flats” and gave it to Dierks Bentley.

And in more news that will hopefully still be happening, Noam Horev wrote this on his facebook page in regards to "I Dare You" which he has the 3/24 date listed. He's is one of the writers tasked with rewriting the song in Hebrew. This is the translated post:

And here, a few months ago I had a crazy opportunity to write a duet to two giant singers:

Maya Buskila and... Kelly Clarkson.

Yes, yes, the world American singer.

Well, their hnynt, the one who won the first season of American Idol.

The one that has two Grammy Awards.

The one who sings wmgz in the because of you.


So I got her face to take part in an international and confidential project for Warner Company, and write to these two crazies a song.

I listened to the English version and started working. I tried to stick as much as possible to the message and message of the original song.

I sent the text and then a ping-pong of repairs started. I remember the moment when I opened the phone, the drunk waited for me an email from Kelly Clarkson who says: " we're on our way!״

Madness.


So the song is called in Hebrew " Let's see " (in English " I dare you "), and it leaves at 24/03 all over the world. A huge honor for me, and especially I am happy for Maya, who is also a one-time singer and a stunning person. My dears, what a jackpot!!! You deserve so much!!


And one more word...

Throughout the work on the song, Kelly insisted that I be faithful to her message. A message of empowerment. Of love. Of unity. Of finding a sane voice in the mess.

Who would have thought that this song would come out in a time when this message is so relevant.

So now, with all the craziness and madness here... -

On another note, Jimmy Fallon has announced that he's not going to tape any new shows from March 13th to 30th. I guess we are going to hear something from her show soon, too.

A complicating factor of Kelly’s single is the global unity theme and the planned release of multiple versions of the song in different languages. In a way, that kind of message is more timely now than ever before, but it also might come off to some as Kelly trying to profit off of a pandemic, which is obviously not the case given that this was all done many months ago. It’s tricky. I’m not sure what the right move would be from a PR standpoint.

Yeah, silver-lining wise it's a force pause. She can relax, maybe do some vocal rest/rehab, write music, record in her home studio, come up with ideas for Invincible whenever it comes back. As it was, I'm sure there was a danger of her running herself to the ground.

I do think it would be a good time to press on with the I Dare You Release. Presumably a lot of the promo content was starting to be created, and she can continue to promote it through the internet to a mass global audience who are stuck at home.

Most of these that are airing now were done in February and there's still a couple from the first week of this month and they have a few unaired ones from January left.
