They're starting pre-orders already? Jesus. The pre-orders were supposed to start on July 8 and it indeed happened in Oceania (July 7 in America because of time zones), where the album appeared on iTunes and it was due to be out on September 30 as it was previously mentioned, but it was removed a couple of hours later for unknown reasons. That said, the pre-orders in the German speaking countries (Austria, Germany and Switzerland) were up since that day in only an edition instead of the standard and deluxe versions, where the original artwork of the standard version was used with the 17 tracks of the deluxe version, because she has a different label there as I previously told you. Also, there was a rumour that Vertigo/Capitol was pushing the album to be released this year and, even, the original release date (September 30) was mentioned in her TV performance of "Hotter Than Hell" around July, but Warner thought it was better to make it a WW release instead, so the album was delayed until next year, despite there's still some confusion about it though.

On August 31, it was revealed the latest episode of Noteworthy through NPR Music, which features Dua Lipa prior her US television debut at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon early last month, where she performed "Hotter Than Hell". Also, Dua Lipa and the host Jason King talked about how she developed her sound, why she's always wanted to be a pop star and why breaking through in the States is so important to her. You could watch the documentary here or in the link of the tweet below.

So, Dua Lipa reached 100k followers on Twitter today and she mentioned that she has 'something special' coming out next week. I'm not expecting a lot, but maybe she could reveal the tracklisting of her debut album or some performances to support "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)" in the US?

And looks like the surprise she had last week was her collaboration with Sean Paul called "No Lie", which you could listen to it below.

Today, Dua posted the still below with Ansel Elgort on her social media and looks like "Be the One" is going to be re-released. https://www.instagram.com/p/BNFrL1wA-uT If this indeed happens, I assume it's going to be in the UK and Ireland to launch her self-titled album there, while the rest of Europe and Oceania will get a new track.

Dua had a Billboard live performance on Facebook yesterday, where she performed "Be the One", "Thinking 'Bout You" and "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)" and she had a chat as well. As a side note, the first minute of the video below is hilarious and a little awkward from her. Also, she performed the latter on Today Show and you could watch it here.

Dua Lipa is shortlisted as one of the three nominees of the BRIT Critics' Choice category along Anne-Marie and Rag'n'Bone Man. She said the following about her nomination: "I couldn't believe it when I got the news. So honoured and grateful to be nominated for the Critics' Choice Award. This is the highlight of my year. I've said so many times, that I've hit a lot of milestones this year from performing at Glastonbury, to doing my own European tour, never doing the same thing two days in a row and going to places I've never been before. Truly living my dream, this is the icing on the cake. A huge dream of mine! Thank you for all the love and support from the bottom of my heart this means the world to me! Thank you."

She was at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball today and she performed her tracks "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)" and "Hotter Than Hell", as well as a cover of Drake's song "One Dance" and "No Lie", her featured track with Sean Paul. I'm not sure, but I found weird that she didn't perform "Be the One" though. โข Watch "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)" here. โข Watch "One Dance" here. โข Watch "Hotter Than Hell" here. โข Watch "No Lie" here. Also, she revealed that she wants to work with Calvin Harris. Yay! (Please, Adam, make it happen!) You could read about her performance here and working with Calvin Harris here.

I'll be honest, i dont get the love for her on Pulse. I get that shes kind of the anti-Rita Ora but her songs are just kind of meh to me. Best of luck to her though with her 6 month preorder window

I just noticed her album disappeared from iTunes. Is it expected in February still? DON'T MAKE THESE KIND OF POSTS AGAIN! I almost had a heart attack. >:( Anyway, I assume you're talking about the US iTunes store. Let me tell you that this is the only iTunes store where the album isn't available for pre-order yet, while it is in the other ones. That said, I still don't know the reason of this because her breakthrough in the US is considered as one of the reasons why the album was delayed until next year.

I think this girl could be featured on a big dance track next year. Logic would point to Calvin Harris, but I won't be surprised if another collaboration is released and starts to take off first.

I tend to freak out every time I read something related to a delay and Dua Lipa is associated with it. Even, the latest rumour about another push back of her self-titled album to mid Spring, which coincidentally began yesterday, isn't helping either. That said, I'm hoping it's a misunderstanding between Vertigo/Capitol, which is her label in the German speaking countries label, and some German retailers. Regarding "Blow Your Mind (Mwah)", I don't want to be pessimistic, but I think it will not survive the freeze and I'm expecting that another song will be pushed in the US early next year to coincide with the launch of the album, likely "Hotter than Hell" or "Be the One".

"Hotter Than Hell" is the way to go to me. Or the Talay co-write ("Last Dance", right?). I'm not too big on "Be the One" honestly.

"be the one" should've been the first single worldwide. a chart topper and yet has had such messy releases. "hotter than hell" is too late on the tropical house trend, "last dance" doesn't sound like y'all do anything anywhere (and also is hurting in the songwriting department).
