53 (+21) Dua Lipa-IDGAF 373,669 (+67,220) S Soon to be TOP50. Is it even a single yet? How the hell is this rising so quickly? Not yet I think. The video is gonna be released next Friday (12.05) and it's already on the Today's Top Hits playlist (which helps a lot). It's also her artist's pick on her artist page. I think this might break the US for her since New Rules never got into the TOP10.

When I search an artist and Spotify shows me their 5 most popular songs, anyone know what the time frame being reflected is?
Is there a way to view totals for more than those 5 songs?

To answer the second question, you can view the ten most popular songs on the desktop version. I have no clue about the time frame though.

From the artist back end page (because I have access to that now, whoop whoop!) the default shows the songs ranked by number of streams in a rolling 28 day period. So whenever you're viewing it, it's based on the number of streams over the past 4 weeks from that day. My guess is that the user front end is also set up that way, but of course only showing the top five (ten on desktop).

STRIP THAT f**kinG DOWN NOW HAS ONE f**kinG BILLION STREAMS. f**k. it doesn't though God yes I know! Someone just gave it a f**king billion on wikipedia. That happens when you trust that. But yeah, either way, I should have checked that on Spotify. Now I'm sad & compromitated. Oh well, I was too angry. Actually I'm happy as that piece of shit is nowhere near a billion.

In the desktop version if you hover the mouse arrow over the popularity bar, I believe you can view the total all time streams of any song.

Can literally anything else be #1 now? I'm getting tired of seeing "rockstar" at #1 every day...

110 songs in the US top 200 have been there for over 4 months. 98 songs have been there for over 5 months. 81 songs have been there for over half a year. 25 songs have been there for over a year. 4 songs have been there for over two years. There is a song that is 12 days away from being there for three years.

Streaming has made the charts slower, and this is good evidence of why we need those rules to keep the charts fresh.

I agree, though one could also argue that a lot of people clearly like hearing the same songs over and over and thus a chart that reflects that is just accurate.

Drake is taking care of that. I think he has the #1 confirmed. And God's Plan is really good and right up Spotify's main audience appeal so it will probably stay there.

Im astonished at the WW longevity of Rockstar, Havana and New Rules. Rockstar and NR were both TOP2 by late September and Havana was #7 and growing. Damn they are still all on the top10.

It makes me depressed to see songs having such incredible longevity while Billboard basically pretends that they aren't popular anymore. XO Tour Life is still top 20 on Spotify.
