Disappointed? They outright flopped, especially on Spotify This isn't really a discussion for the Hot 100 or CHR, but both tracks did not flop on either of those places. They did underperform based on expectations, but neither track had a terrible chart run at all. Now as far as Spotify goes, which is what this thread's purpose is for: "...Ready for It?" peaked at #1 on US Spotify. Granted, that was its first day when it was released a promo track and not during its single run, but even during its single run, it peaked at #51, which is fair for a female pop track these days. Globally, it peaked at #3 on debut day and #85 as a single. In total, the track garnered about 50 million streams in the US and 170 million globally. "End Game" peaked at #21 in the US and #46 globally. Again, not amazing numbers, but for a female pop track, it's respectful. In the US, "End Game" has earned around 40 million streams and globally, it's earned about 90 million streams. These are not stats for tracks that "outright flopped" on Spotify. You want to see stats for a track that outright flopped on Spotify? Look up Meghan Trainor's "No Excuses."

Finally God's Plan isn't number 1 on Spotify Global ... Hopefully it stays that way . Finally? "God's Plan" had already not been #1 before when "Call Out My Name" overtook it before it retook the #1 spot for two days. This would be the second time "Call Out My Name" is #1 on Spotify Global. I know it was number 1 on Spotify I just hate GP and I am hoping that GP stays at number 2 that's why I said finally .

I guess you're just going to ignore the fact that Dua and Camila's streaming success is an outlier for pop females and not the norm.

Delicate has fallen to #42, but with all the Cardi above her it only seems natural, I expect it to rise again once the album hype dies off.
Also XO Tour Llif3 re-enters at #49!

Any particular reason for XO Tour to re-enter? Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think it’s just a popular song with lots of longevity. I feel like it’ll be one of the songs people remember ten years from now when they look back at the hits of the 2000s.

XO didn't really re-enter. It never fell off the chart, it just moved back inside the top 50. The actual chart is 200 positions. (The playlist is only 50 spots, though.)
The track has had great longevity on Spotify and only fell out of the top 50 from Cardi's album bomb. It was #37 the day before. Cardi (and other new tracks) knocked it down to 52, and it regained some strength to climb back to 49.

KOD breaks the record for biggest debut! Second biggest day overall.
Will be interesting to see if it holds those spots with Post's album bomb next week.

J. Cole has become a god of streaming in such a sneaky way. He just keeps blowing up bigger with each new album He has always been huge with streaming. 2014 Forest Hills Drive was the first album that Spotify wrote about breaking the streaming record. He kept the record until Purpose or Views. I know that View had the record, but I am not sure with Purpose. The Record was then broken again with either Starboy, 4 Your Eyez Only or both If I remember correctly. More Life then broke it, and Damn then might have broken it. That is all in the U.S.

Somebody said KOD is only the second biggest day? Do you know what the biggest day is? Kinda weird that somebody would have a bigger day and it not be their debut.

Ariana only debuted at #15? What a disappointment. I thought she was at least popular enough to debut at like #3 or something.

I'm not surprised. Levels is going down as one of the definitive Dance tracks of the early 10s (though WMU was impactful and influential as well), like Children did for the 90s.

Levels didn’t do well on the Hot 100 but it was absolutely a huge hit outside typical commercial success, every party this decade has that song on shuffle, it’s one of the most iconic dance songs of the 2010’s and influenced the wave of EDM that became commercial successful a year later. I wasn’t a chart watcher in 2011 and I thought this was a huge hit since it was everywhere at the time, that Etta James sample is so iconic and people usually think about that song more than Flo Ridas which did way better on the charts.

Kinda weird that somebody would have a bigger day and it not be their debut. That is actually not true depending on what charts about which you are speaking. It was released during December, so the charting is counted for 2015. The album is the number eight album of 2015 according to Billboard. The singles do not have high positions on the charts because they do not have videos or were not released to radio until months after. For instance, No Role Modelz, has stayed on Spotify's Top 200 Songs chart since it debuted there almost four years ago. It is also the tenth highest streamed song ever in the U.S. That is a song from 2014 when Spotify was not nearly as ubiquitous. He has always been a streaming giant, but he just never put in the extra effort to have the singles chart reflect that.
