(To clarify: it's the song at the very end of that video - you can Shazam it, where the title formatting is also confirmed as "F*** Apologies." with three asterisks and a period.)
Very sad this isn't "Good Thing" - MNEK finally had a US hit and that sounded major - but looking forward to another shot for JoJo regardless.

SO GOOD, but I agree that they're sleeping on 'Good Thing'. That is a HIT.

iTunes has this listed as "F*ck Apologies.".
I dig this, but not sure this gets her the hit she desperately needs.
ETA: ooh just listened to "Good Thing" and me likey

I like it. This is definitely the best original song she's released since "Demonstrate," IMO. I really don't know what to predict, as far as radio is concerned; there are so many factors involved with that. I will say that I don't think it was a good idea to put "fuck" in the title since it's probably going to be an uphill battle at radio already. But I guess that's what clean edits are for.
Anyway, I'm happy she can officially release music and that album has an actual date.

I must say: haven't heard the song yet, but judging from that single cover, the song title and the feature they secured..I'm thinking they finally got it right and I'm stunned? Listening now and will update this post
Edit: omg Omg omg OMG they got it right. They didn't desperately try to make a Top 40 hit and it's actually somewhat inspired and fresh. Ray of sunshine to my day.

I love it! It could be a jaded opinion since I'm always thirsty for new Joanna Levesque, but so far I'm jamming. The pre-chorus and chorus are both really catchy.

I like this, and I agree with surfy's comment in the album thread that it kind of has the same vibe as Selena's Same Old Love. I could see this doing very well, hope the label really supports it/has some good promo lined up! I like that they've got the sinele and video release timed concurrently; hope the impact date is soon to follow as well. And add me to the list of 'I can't believe this is finally happening'. Like, after all my whining about where the hell is this album it finally looks like it's here and like they plan on doing it right :'(

I really don't know what to predict, as far as radio is concerned; there are so many factors involved with that. I will say that I don't think it was a good idea to put "f**k" in the title since it's probably going to be an uphill battle at radio already. But I guess that's what clean edits are for. Anyway, I'm happy she can officially release music and that album has an actual date. She needs a streaming hit and public interest. I think the song and title is edgy in the right way for that. Radio is an uphill battle for her regardless. She already delivered the vanilla When Love Hurts to try to play that game. She needs a song charting on iTunes, and something attention grabbing to have any form of stock in the industry and interest in this project. After listening to this 5x in a row, this has an edgy, urban enough sound (where she truly shines) to get that play, but is versitle enough for pop if it gets that traction. If Cee-Lo Green got a hit with "f**k You", you're right. That's exactly what clean edits are for.

I like this too. It's an easy hit for someone on a streak, but not sure if it has that extra wow factor to be a breakthrough on its own. We'll see what happens. it kind of has the same vibe as Selena's Same Old Love. Do NOT ruin this for me pls.

(although I really like SOL) It's the semi-minimalist production and general verse/pre-chorus/chorus structure more so than their voices or melody.

She could never hit that run leading to the final chorus after the rap.

It's a bop and a great return single for her. There are echoes of her previous work but it's got slick production. The verses remind me of Hymn for the Weekend a little bit.
