Oh shit...I thought he won nothing, so I was prepared to say that his shutout was my favorite part about the show but...at least he took vocal lessons before his performance. He sounded good. As someone who actually grew up with traditional R&B, I would like to know how a Bootsy Collins karaoke song qualifies as "Traditional" R&B.

I was surprised by how good he sounded. He's sounded pretty abysmal in the past. So good on him for improving! I still think this album was overhyped though. I'm here for this sound, I just needed him to be better at it. I wonder what he'll do next.

Childish Gambino to Re-Release 2011 'EP' Mixtape Across All Music Streaming Platforms: Exclusive1/30/2018 by Michael Saponara On the heels of taking home his first Grammy Award, Donald Glover has a special treat for his day-one fans. In combination with his creative agency Wolf + Rothstein, the RCA Records artist will reissue his 2011 mixtape EP. The project will finally be available across all major streaming platforms beginning Tuesday (Jan. 30). Even though Glover is hard at work on what will be his final album under the moniker Childish Gambino, his creative agency, along with Stem, an inventive distribution platform, has a bunch of surprises in store for 2018, and EP's re-release is only the beginning. “Artists should never be in the position where the industry hinders their creative output,” Glover's manager, Wolf Taylor, exclusively tells Billboard. “Our goal is to give our artists the ability to release content when and where they want. Partnering with Stem has allowed us to maintain our major label resources while providing us with a platform to independently release our special projects.” Hopefully, more artists follow in the "Redbone" artist's footsteps in bringing their classic projects to the digital music marketplace. The tuneful EP is a special opportunity for senior fans to reacquaint themselves with why they became a fan of Childish Gambino, as well as allowing newer fans to go back and explore Donald's ranging artistry on the four-track mixtape seven years later.

He claims his next album will be his last. Now confirmed to be his last under the Childish Gambino name only.

Hosting and performing on SNL May 5. Assuming we'll get new music then.
