Bold indicates the song is still on the chart, italics indicate a song which earned a record this year (with said record accompanying song)
1. "Control" by Halsey -- Peak at 2 for eleven weeks -- 63 weeks on the chart (10 weeks from 2015) -- With the dawn of streaming and the dying of radio, the chart has certainly changed over the course of the past few years. This song took something of a hit despite being one. It tops the Year End list, but it also becomes only the fifth single in Billboard history to top it but never actually hit number one on the weekly charts. Instead, it stopped at number two for eleven weeks straight, being blocked by "True Colors" for seven weeks, "It Ain't Me Babe" for three, and"Hunter" and Halsey's own "Colors" for one. This slots it in at number 2 in that record, right behind last year's "Blumenkranz" by MIU. Additionally, it ties at 13th for longest weeks on the Hot 100, a record that very well could exceed into 2017.
2. "Real" by NF -- Peak at 1 for three weeks -- 37 weeks on the chart -- It took NF 29 weeks to climb the chart before landing his first number one hit. This record puts "Real" at 5th for that achievement.
3. "True Colors" by Zedd and Kesha -- Peak at 1 for ten weeks -- 25 weeks on the chart -- Not a lot of songs scored records this year (although a good number of artists snagged them repeat appearances) but "True Colors" managed to make itself by not only debuting at No. 1, but also tying at 6th for longest weeks at No. 1, managing to snag 10.
4. "Lay It All On Me" by Rudimental and Ed Sheeran -- Peak at 1 for one week -- 62 weeks on the chart (9 weeks from 2015) -- With 62 weeks and counting on the Hot 100, this song ties at 14th for longest weeks on the Hot 100. Additionally, it took 22 weeks to hit the top spot, tying it for 11th in that record, something he shared with "Colors".
5. "Stressed Out" by Twenty One Pilots -- Peak at 2 for eight weeks -- 49 weeks on the chart (12 weeks from 2015) -- Last year, four songs took spots on the aforementioned "number two" record. This year, only two took spots, with "Control" being the first. "Stressed Out" tied for 5th place with eight straight weeks, being blocked by "On the Rocks" for four weeks, "New Romantics" for three, and "Kill the Doctor" for one.
6. "Colors" by Halsey -- Peak at 1 for three weeks -- 39 weeks on the chart -- As previously stated, this song ties at 11th for longest climbs to the top spot.
7. "Supernatural" by Ken Ashcorp -- Peak at 1 in 2015 and 2016 for twelve weeks -- Year End of 2015 – 19 -- 48 weeks on the chart (19 weeks from 2015) -- Not only did this assure Ken Ashcorp an unbelievable 90+ weeks (that's over a year in a half and still climbing) in the Top 10 (which is a feat Ed Sheeran came close to last year), not only are these singles still coming, but Supernatural also ties in 4th for longest weeks at No. 1 with 12. Additionally, it tied for 6th by spending 30 weeks in the Top 10 itself, doing all of this by first debuting there (which is another record in of itself, placing 5th in that record with four other singles by Ken spending more time after debuting there).
8. "The Light" by Disturbed -- Peak at 5; Year End of 2015 – 97-- 66 weeks on the chart (17 weeks from 2015) -- With 66 weeks, this places "The Light" at 10th for longest weeks on the Hot 100.
9. "Kevin" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis ft. Leon Bridges -- Peak at 2 -- 30 weeks on the chart
10. "Hello" by Adele -- Peak at 1 for eight weeks -- Year End of 2015 – 52 -- 30 weeks on the chart (8 weeks from 2015) -- This song snapped in at 8th, tying with Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" at number of weeks in the Top 10 after debuting there with 18 straight weeks.
11. "On the Rocks" by Ken Ashcorp -- Peak at 1 for four weeks -- 26 weeks on the chart -- With the hype of his new album, "On the Rocks LP" behind him, this becomes one of three songs to debut at the top of the chart.

13. "Saw It Coming" by G-Eazy ft. Jeremih -- Peak at 3 -- 27 weeks on the chart

This song ties at 7th for longest climb to the top spot with 26 weeks (a record shared with last year's number one song, "She Knows"). It also becomes only the 10th song in Billboard history to be a remake of a song that previously peaked at No. 1.
