1. Intro 2. Trick Me 3. Milkshake 4. Keep It Down 5. In Public (featuring Nas) 6. Flashback 7. Protect My Heart 8. Millionaire (featuring Andre 3000) 9. Glow (featuring Raphael Saadiq) 10. Sugar Honey Iced Tea 11. Attention (featuring Raphael Saadiq) 12. Rolling Through the Hood 13. Stick Up 14. Marathon I didn't see a thread for this, but "Trick Me" (a BOP and a half) came on my shuffle, and subsequently made me get back into the album. Released at the end of 2003, this was Kelis' third album overall, and second after her previous effort Wonderland was shelved in the U.S. Propelled by the smash lead single "Milkshake" and critical acclaim (including an 80 on Metacritic), the album was able to go Gold, but she was never scored another hit as big as "Milkshake" in the U.S. from this album, despite having international success with "Trick Me", "Millionaire", and "In Public". Kelis has always had a severely underrated discography to me, and as hard as it is to pick a "best" album of hers, I'd probably choose this one. I may be slightly biased because of the nostalgic attachment I have to this (I played the whole CD out in middle school), but I feel that Kelis brought out some of the best production work of the Neptunes, much of which I think has held up quite well over time, especially considering it was released nearly 15 years ago.

While not my #1 fav Kelis album (Food & Kelis Was Here), this was the first one I listened to. It's so versatile and interesting yet still hip enough for radio in 03/04.
"Millionaire" and "Sugar Honey Iced Tea" were lovely as well as "Flashback" taken from Wanderland

I'm not a huge fan of "Milkshake", but this is an awesome album. "Trick Me" and "In Public" are my favorites.

I love it. My favorite album by her. The singles are actually among my least favorites on the album.

I like Kelis because she tends to be musically more sophisticated than most R&B acts, but I love this one for how simple and effortless it is.

How wasn’t “Trick Me” a smash???? I liked a decent amount of this album? “In Public” was a bop along with “Flashback”. This album deserved more love at the time.
