Two Country singles that highlight lost love in two snowy destination towns. Josh's was also recorded by Tim McGraw for his Set This Circus Down album but was never released officially as a single. Josh's version peaked at #33 on Mediabase in February of 2009. I picked Josh's version because that was the one serviced to radio stations as a single. James' was his debut single for Broken Bow Records in late 2009 and peaked at 339 on Mediabase in April of 2010. Which do you prefer more? Love both songs and artists, but I have to give the edge to "Telluride" even though "Jackson Hole" is beautiful too.

Josh's "Telluride" got to #3? I thought it stalled out in the 30's.

"Jackson Hole" is solid but "Telluride" is a little more enjoyable to me from pretty much all aspects, especially vocally and melodically. I think Josh Gracin's version might also be better than Tim McGraw's, after listening to both of those back-to-back as well.

"Telluride" all the way for me as well. I enjoy Tim's version a lot more than I do Josh's. I'm not saying Josh's version is bad by any means. I actually think it is one of the best songs Josh has chosen to record. His voice fits the song, and the production isn't overbearing.
"Jackson Hole" is another good one, and put up against most other songs...I'd go with "Jackson Hole" for sure. After "Real" it was the second James Wesley song I'd heard and it was the one that really peaked my interest as a fan. It's a shame he didn't go anywhere at radio, or even get an album release.

I love "Telluride". I prefer Tim's version to Josh's though.
