Interesting how the artists at #1 and #40 each have extras placed closest to the opposite ends of the countdown from where their hits are. Both artists at #2 get separate extras as well.

"I Don't Wanna Live Forever" has been at #2 for six straight weeks. I'm too busy to look it up now, but when was the last time something spent that long at #2 without ever making it to #1?

I am listening to AT40, on the computer version  www.iheart.com/live/american-top-40-4802/  and instead of playing the Breakout "Still Got Time", they played "Bad Things" in it's place.  Ryan announced it as "Still Got Time", but that's not what they played.  Why did they do this?  How does this make any sense?   Anybody else here get that when you listened to the show?

I didn't listen to the show on the IHeart station. Where I listened, they played "Still Got Time".

"Still Got Time" was played on KIIS this morning as a Break Out.

The same thing happened when I listened. I don't know why there isn't more uniformity between the
computer show and the one on the radio. It seems they do the music and the narration separately and then try to blend them.

There are 17 one word titles on the chart, not counting iSpy. This is probably a record!

Yeah, same thing happened to me too last Saturday morning when i listened to iheart on KIIS FM Los Angeles, and I thought it was a radio segment error, but no. Bad Things is replacing Still Got Time, and I looked over mediabase what was that song listings for Saturday. And I haven't checked yesterday if Still Got Time played, but I think they might have played, and assumed last Saturday morning airing Bad Things was a technical error..

You're right; the AT40 Facebook feed yesterday said that IDWLF is the longest running #2 (without hitting #1) since Colbie Caillat's "Bubbly", which in late 2007 got stuck behind Timbaland/One Republic's "Apologize".

As I said, I listened to the i-heart version online. Everything seemed sped up including Ryan
who sounded higher pitched, as well as computer lady.

Even more impressive than "Bubbly" or "I Don't Wanna Live Forever," I believe "Who Knew" by Pink spent 15 non-consecutive weeks at #2 (without hitting #1) on American Top 40's Hot AC chart.
