Oh man, finally we have a contest! Seriously, considering what was going on in Reba's personal life leading up to the release of "For My Broken Heart", I am shocked to see that she did not win this. She absolutely deserves it. "She's In Love With The Boy" may be the most iconic, but Reba's is the best example of artistry in response to a real life personal tragedy. Reba was an artist in crisis, and the result is absolutely heartbreaking and breathtaking.

Kathy's "Time Passes By" is probably my favorite, but I think Mary Chapin edges out the competition in this category (which means they got it right lol).

I would have given it to Reba McEntire for sentimental reasons. The other nominees were deserving as well.
