I've always loved "Walkaway Joe". Plus, Trisha is an amazing vocalist.

I know some people take these categories to mean something more like "Best Female Country Single" (and so forth), but since the word 'Vocal' is in the category title, I've always gone more by the best vocal. I say that because I can see where "Passionate Kisses" might win as the best single of the group, but in no way can I see it winning a 'vocal' category over Trisha Yearwood's reading of "Walkaway Joe." I voted for that one.

"Walkaway Joe" is one of Trisha's absolute finest singles imo, so I voted for that.

This is a tough one because I've always loved "Walkaway Joe," but I still have to give this one to MCC.

Trisha Yearwood was robbed here. Others that deserved it was Wynonna and Tanya Tucker.
