Everyone please give "Even If It Breaks Your Heart" a close listen :) It's one of my all-time favorite songs and I'd love for it to do well for a country song here. It's not like the Luke Bryan/Florida Georgia Line/bro-country crap, I promise :) It's one of mine, too. Will definitely be high on my list!

Can you send a spotify playlist? Just submitted my list, and it was a mixed year for rap, with some huge hits and misses, and it was a great year for country, I had two country songs in my top 20.

Can you send a spotify playlist? Is what beno just posted above what you mean, or are you talking about submitting your list to me in playlist form? Assuming that you have them ordered in the way that you want them ranked (i.e. first song is your #1, second song is your #2, etc.), I will accept that as a submission. :)

Sent in my rankings. Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, Gym Class Heroes, and Chris Brown all ended up with back-to-back songs in my rankings, which was unintentional, but funny. I guess 2012 was the year everyone decided to be consistent af. Also, my highest country song this year is higher than my 2013 one and so is my highest rap, but damn, both genres were so split this year. Some really great stuff and some really terrible stuff. My bottom nine really all could've been my number 100, to be honest.

Is there still a functioning preference revealer online? I can access several copies of the page through archive.org, but the "Go!" button doesn't seem to work on any of them.

Is there still a functioning preference revealer online? I can access several copies of the page through archive.org, but the "Go!" button doesn't seem to work on any of them. I'm having the same problem. This has been discussed in the Winners Archive & Queue thread; others who've used it might be able to help you there. The only other thing I can suggest is following their discussion starting about...here, and continuing to the next page following: pulsemusic.proboards.com/post/6132915/thread
In other news, I have the spreadsheet started and have begun entering people's lists. Let the fun begin!

5 lists in so far. :) I see several PMs waiting to be opened, but at this point I'm electing to break for the night. In the meantime, here's some fast early facts based on the 5:
No two people have the same #1 song yet, though at this early stage that's not a huge stretch. The song currently at #4 has no Top 10 ranks. The song currently at #13 has no Top 20 ranks. The highest-ranked song that has no Top 50 ranks is #76. Only two songs thus far have not accumulated even 100 points.

I just sent in my list, and oh my goodness was it a tough one! I'm going to be honest when I say any song in my top 40 could've been at least in my top 5, if not my number one, on any other rank down. Ultimately there were a few cases where I had to break a tie by deciding which artist I prefer overall (not perfect, but I just couldn't decide...so many great songs!) I would genuinely be okay with any song in my Top 40 winning this.
And...some not good songs. 90-100 are all interchangeable, but I think I got it mostly right.

Any popular non-charting songs this year? I remember Skyfall being huge..MAN, did the radio kill that song for me.
Others I can think of: How We Do, Anything Could Happen, and Pyramids..which should've been a bigger hit.
I am going to lose plenty of songs early. I do have a few GPs, like Back In Time.

GPs? I am now up to 11 lists entered* (well, the 11th is currently in-process), and we have now come to our first #100 rank repeat. Meanwhile, all 11 have different #1 songs. I'm impressed. :) (ETA a day later: Well, now I suppose the early honeymoon is over...list #13 gives us our first #1 repeat, and a sneak peak at the two other lists after that reveal that they are also repeats [albeit of different songs, but still]. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted. ) *11 entered, 15 in total. Keep 'em coming! :)

Pyramids or Thinkin Bout You should've been hits, both amazing songs by a criminally underrated (for the mainstream at least) singer.

Finished my list! God if 2011 and 2013 were great year then 2012 is the holy grail of music. Diamonds, which was my #6 in 2013, didn't even make my top ten. And I enjoy my #80 actually, damn. My bottom 3 can just be three-way tie for #100 tho

It's a strong year at the top for me, but "Pyramids" would have been my #1 without even blinking had it made the cut. God, I love that song. TBY would have been up there, too.

Hey y'all. :) With a nice even three weeks to go, how about another update? So far we have 17 participants. All lists sent to me so far have been entered; none are currently pending as of this typing. These are the people who have sent me lists so far: (Not tagging b/c y'all don't need prodding at this stage) {Yay you're already in}me (duh ) gravey Moon Dancer Kanenrá:ke Stacey beno jtd Sambalada willapted33 musicfan134 Choco .indulgecountry crazyb Au$tin jamesflame dm2081 Rocky austin While these people have visited and have not ruled out participation but have not yet submitted: matteeeb castleoblivion26 Leo ✔ YotamTS Willow Rinadoobee Breakfast born Harx boysilver400 zaclord 🌈 Red raylatch98 Leaf Normi Walking Contradiction awesomecharts Mr. Thonk EyesAnd these people were tagged as past participants in Billboard YE Rankdowns or b/c they'd posted in previous ones indicating possible interest BUT we've heard neither hide nor hair from them here soooooo......IDK? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ aerodynamite frenchfry @mirza ry4n Az Paynter lyhom Web wheatsquares33 Daniel Collins CF15 maine MTSChart21 †ealsünset Daryl the Beryl rgreen0625 chicken077 Codex Raccoon Juan Carlos Zeebz georgetherunner314 Xaprios Khia LBTrocks @antigonerising Mike is BADIn the meantime...updated fast facts: Not counting the entry of the first list (mine ), the #1 position has been held by five different songs along the way. Only one song remains that has not yet received any lower half listings. It's not #1. The love is spreading: In my first update I posted that the highest-ranked song that had no Top 10 listings was #4. Now, there are only two such songs in the entire Top 30. Notably, one of those two doesn't even have any Top 20 listings. There are only two songs remaining that have yet to receive a single Top 40 listing. Neither such song is in the Bottom 2. All songs have accumulated at least 300 points by now. NOTE that this is NOT an invitation to start speculating as to the identities of these songs sooooo...please save that for the big reveal? :) REMINDER: Deadline is June 24, 11:59:59 EST. Here's a time zone calculator just in case.
