The fact that bboat11 didn't start a Martina McBride rankdown feels so wrong! Or is it just me? Hahaha I definitely would have eventually ;) But Martina is castleoblivion26's favorite too, and he already claimed this, so I am more than happy to let him do this. And in some ways this will be even more wonderful for me because I will be just as surprised by the results as everybody else!!!!  |

Martina is my #1 favorite. Has been since 1998 so am excited to do this. Hope to get a lot of participation with this!

I never heard any song from her other than the one for the 2014 Rankdown. If I participate all of it will be from 1 listen so Idk. High chances I won't be able to do it.

Nah I never heard it, I started following country in 2012. Even with that. All those songs are still classic country songs of the 90s and 2000s so I still am stunned. But that's just me [*shrugs*] I do like Martina McBride to a point but 70 songs is a lot and yeah I know that the deadline is far out. But still I don't think I'll participate in this one. |

OMG that one is hardly an adequate song for an introduction to Martina! You probably heard that song and thought, "bboat really stans for THIS boring chick?" Don't get me wrong, I love "If You Don't Know Me By Now," but it is definitely a song that you have to appreciate for its artistic direction rather than for any sort of catchiness and energy. So it is totally an outlier in her catalog in that regard. If you choose to participate, I promise this will be a MUCH more enjoyable time for you than if it were a bunch of songs like the one from the 2014 rankdown  |

70 songs is a lot... I'm also not familiar with Martina's discography outside of a few songs ("Independence Day" and a few songs from her recent stuff like "I'm Gonna Love You Through It" and "Reckless"). I didn't really get into country until 2014/2015 but Martina was one of the first female country artists that I ever listened to when "Teenage Daughters" was out back in 2011. However, I never bothered to check more of her stuff (with the exception of "Independence Day" for some reason). I'll try to participate since I have over a month and it'll be a good chance to check out bboat11's favorite artist! Knowing me I'll save all 70 songs until the last minute lol |

I know 70 songs is a lot and I tried to narrow it down. It was hard to eliminate songs because there are so many songs that charted or were released. I hope everyone will give this a try. I wanted to post this early to give everyone a chance to listen to the songs, I promise it'll be worth it!

Hopefully everyone will jump in soon. I may do a little post that expands on each album with youtube videos with the songs included in the rankdown for people to follow along. Then hopefully people will get around to getting their submissions in. Also, even if you don't know a majority of these songs and would be doing this based on only 1 or 2 listens of it I still want you to participate. The more the merrier and hopefully those who don't care for her radio singles will discover a few gems from her cause she has quite a few |
