I like it on first listen. A mixture of the sound Avicii worked at his height, Rita Ora's Anywhere, and something Taylor could have done during the Red period, but unmistakably Kylie. There's a certain warmth to it that's welcome.
Expecting the Botoxdite fans to be disappointed though.

I heard the snippet yesterday so I'm kinda scared to listen now... I love Kylie to death, but I don't wanna be disappointed by her lead single again.

So I listened to it... some thoughts: - I wish Kylie's stuff would stop leaking. It must be so disheartening for her & her team.
- I see we have "All The Lovers, Pt. 3" on our hands here. 🙄
- It's inoffensive but hardly anything to get excited about. Sounds like a few Baby Boomers listened to two Avicii songs and got in the recording studio.
- I like the theme of the lyrics and the whole idea of embracing her age etc., but wtf is that aaah-aaah-aaah-aah? Or is it Iiii-Iiii-Iiii-Iii? 😕
- The verses and chorus seem like they were cut and pasted from different songs. The prechorus just bursts in the room like Khia looking for her Section 8 check.
- She really did that with the country influence. Australia's cuntry kween!! Nicole Kidman who? Olivia WHOton-John?
- People are really trying it with the "Anywhere" comparisons. That song is a masterpiece.
- But it's whatever. I'm still looking forward to the new album and ESPECIALLY a new tour. I hope she comes to Canada this time.

I'm not sure if it's the leak, but my biggest issue is that it sounds kind of cheap. I love the lyrics, though.
Edit: It's a track that needs repeated listens to sink in. I'm into it now.

I keep seeing people saying it took around three listens for it to click with them.
I am in love with it but I don't know if it's lead single material.

She has a new icon on Twitter. Might be from the Dancing video or the album shoot.

As Janhova's Witness mentioned, she needed an "Anywhere". Instead, she got this. It's average and sounds like it should be played in a Nate Berkus showroom.
Enthusiasm ratcheted down one notch.

Well, Into the blue and All the lovers are amongst my top 10 favorites from Kylie... I heard the leaked version yesterday and I liked it. At some point her singing about closing the curtain and going out dancing struck an emotional chord with me (that's the type of phrase my mom said when she was alive and talked about her last days on earth and how she wanted to be remembered....) I'm a fan of melancholic dancey Kylie, so I'm definitely IN for this :)

I'm a fan of melancholic dancey Kylie, so I'm definitely IN for this I love the emotional core to the song as well. I was just expecting a more dancey, old school Kylie production wise. The production on this is not only middle of the road for me but sounds dated. I think this could have worked 3-4 years ago when "Wake Me Up" was a monster smash but this country/electro sound doesn't sound cutting edge anymore. If she was going to go more country, I wish she would have gone the "Music"/Madonna route.

"Wake Me Up" is probably the best comparison for the instrumental, mixed with the carefree airiness Kylie does effortlessly.
Is it a bit basic? Yes, but let's be real, no one else is serving this kind of pop music right now. Plus, the darker lyrics give it a Robyn "Dancing on My Own" anti-pop twist.

She just revealed the track list on Twitter. I wouldn't be surprised if they put up a pre-order with the single on Friday.

NNNnnn I'm assuming this means they are resigned to an extremely early leak, and we're going to get a rush release.
BMG is too messy. Poor Kylie.

Janet didn't leak on BMG. Fergie's the only major leak so far and I hope they tightened up security.

This is the album cover apparently. Easily better than the ones for Aphrodite and Kiss Me Once. Not crazy about the April release date. Should be by mid-March at the latest imo.

I'm really liking "Dancing", don't know if it will do well on British charts but still, 'When I go out, I wanna go out dancing'

I prefer the "Dancing" single cover, but it's a nice enough album cover. I agree that April seems way too late for this. I was expecting something like Glory which came out about a month after the single.

If she is releasing the album so late, it may give her a chance to release another single beforehand. If that's the case, I'm hoping for a big Get Outta My Way pop smash (fingers crossed), which is what I was hoping for from the lackluster Dancing.

I'm sorry, but BMG is delusional. A three-month rollout in 2018? Of a project whose lead single leaked a week before it was announced? The full album will be leaked by Valentine's Day.

WTF this looks like the artwork of some unofficial b-sides collection. Don't like it at all. I find the artwork of Aphrodite and Kiss Me Once A LOT better. I loved the single cover (which actually looks like album artwork) and figured she would serve an even better cover for the album. 👎

She looks HAWT on the album cover! I love it!!
She looked like a corpse on Kiss Me Once.

I think the song is just gorgeous - dancey and country and melancholy. Beautifully done

I nearly cried and starting bouncing in my seat at the same time on first listen.
1.) I haven't related to the lyrics and sentiment of a song in such a while b/c those who know me IRL know how much I love to dance. And I also fear physical and mental debilitation in old age, so this song resonates with me.
2.) Kylie's voice hasn't sounded so good on record in a while. The vocals on KMO and Aphrodite were patchy but this is sublime and wonderful.
EDIT: 3.) OMG YASSSS!!!! Writing credits on all songs!!!! Not since IP has she showcased her songwriting so much!!!!!

I love the sentiment of the song and the lyrics. But vocally I wish there was more punch, it's a little too passive. The song kind of just comes and goes for me.
