30. Woah Oh! (Me vs. Everybody) (with Forever the Sickest Kids)
Points: 744 Average: 25.655 SD: 4.426In 2008, punk band Forever the Sickest Kids released their debut single “Woah Oh! (Me vs. Everyone)”. The song had minor success, managing to reach #38 on the Mainstream Top 40. One year later, though, a remix was released as a duet with Selena Gomez. It was just released as a promotional single, and failed to chart anywhere, but it was notable for being her first song to not involve Disney in any way. You may recognize the song from old Nerf commercials (but probably not).Charts:None (for Selena version) 14. Au$tin 18. Chelsea Press 2 19. aerodynamite 19. Leaf 22. jtd Thee Stallion 22. Up next: the only song to drop below "Woah Oh!" at some point during the rankdown. Five people have this at #30.

The only reason this wasn't my #30 as well, is because my actual #30 is a song I CANNOT. F**KING. STAND. But it will probably stick around until at least top 20.

29. Fly to Your Heart
Points: 741 Average: 25.552 SD: 4.509Disney Channel requires a lot from their stars. One of these requirement is to occasionally provide a song for a new movie or cover a Disney classic for a new release or compilation. She had to do the latter with “Cruella de Vil” and “Trust in Me”, but her first foray into the former was “Fly to Your Heart” for the 2008 film Tinker Bell. The sappy song about finding yourself is probably not looked back on by Selena as a career highlight, but I remember the video had a lot of Disney Channel airtime.Charts:None (for Selena version) 10. @walker9 16. I didn't expect "Whoa Oh" to be last place behind all her Disney Channel songs...
I was close with "Fly to Your Heart" (I predicted that would come in last place)! The only reason why I ranked it as high as #23 was nostalgia. I used to love this song back when it was first out, but now I think the song is kind of cheesy and Selena's vocals aren't the best on this song.

Ugh I didn't even listen to "Fly To Your Heart" because it's wretchedness is still burned into my brain from when it came out. I like and love a lot of her songs and albums but nope this one is truly horrid.

My bottom 10 were songs I heard for the first time for this rank down, so I had no bias or nostalgia factor. I listened to all songs at least twice --more if I wasn't sure of the ranking. Fly was a song I only needed to listen to twice -second time I just had to stop it midway because I couldn't freaking stand it!! lol Woah Oh! on the other hand is a song I had to listen multiple times because I had ranked it bottom 5 but it kept coming back for redemption. It definitely didn't deserve last position at all. I have at least 4 other songs that I wish I hadn't heard lol

28. Shake It Up
Points: 729 Average: 25.138 SD: 5.119Selena Gomez performed “Everything Is Not What It Seems” as the theme song to her show Wizards of Waverly Place. Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato, among others, both provided themes for their respective shows as well. However, for Shake It Up, rather than let capable singers Bella Thorne or Zendaya take up the task, Disney went back to Selena. QUEEN. It’s an electropop song meant to capture the dance theme of the show. Unlike “EISNWIS”, “Shake It Up” was actually released as a promotional single, hence its inclusion in the countdown.Charts:US Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles: #9 8. jtd Thee Stallion 12. @walker9 17. 27. Magic
Points: 650 Average: 22.414 SD: 5.901In 2009, two years after the premiere of Wizards of Waverly Place, Disney released a soundtrack for the show to correspond with its movie. Among a bunch of other magic related songs, the soundtrack contained four songs by Selena. Rather than making theme song “Everything Is Not What It Seems” the official promo single for the soundtrack, or even “Magical” or “Disappear”, the two other original Selena songs, they chose to release her cover of the 1974 song “Magic” by Pilot. It was one of her most successful Disney-related songs, selling over 500,000 copies and receiving a lot of Radio Disney airplay.Charts:Norway: #5 US Billboard Hot 100: #61 10. aerodynamite11. matteeeb13. @mirza 13. 26. Send It On (with Demi Lovato, Jonas Brothers & Miley Cyrus)
Points: 647 Average: 22.310 SD: 5.702Also in 2009, Disney Channel started the Disney’s Friends for Change initiative. The program included dozens of Disney Channel stars and strove to increase environmental awareness. They started an annual tradition of a charity single release, and with “Send It On”, the tradition began with a superstar collaboration that brought together the four biggest acts on the channel (possibly ever?) for a song about passing the message along. Selena did the bridge with Kevin Jonas, and was part of the group chorus. 100% of the proceeds went to environmental charities, and the song debuted at #20 on the Hot 100. To me, that captures just how powerful Disney Channel once was. Can you imagine a Top 20 debut for something like this with four of today’s Disney Channel stars? Can you name four of today’s Disney Channel stars?Charts:Norway: #5 US Billboard Hot 100: #61 9. Normi9. Exclusive15. nick6416. born17. Au$tin17. @walker9 18. †ealsünset18. Leo ✔20. I’ve always really liked this song. It’s a little corny, but not as much as “Fly to Your Heart”, plus it’s got a great message and is for a good cause, not to mention being much more melodically pleasing and having great vocals (Demi Lovato slayed this, and I will hear nothing less). And I also really like the “One spark starts a fire” line. Selena didn’t have too much to do on it, but she still sounds great.
