Today marks 15 year since Amerie's debut album "All I Have" came out. Ever since I got this album, it's been on constant replay. All the songs are soooo good that there's not a single track I would skip! I never really expected it to be an instant favorite. Definitely one of the best R'n'B albums from the last decade, not to mention one of the most underrated. Amerie should have gotten a lot of accolades and great reviews for this! All Music Guide should have given this 5 stars. Who the hell cares if "Got To Be There", "I Just Died", and "Need you Tonight" share similar titles with other popular hits? It shouldn't detract how awesome the production was and had a beautiful flow. All I Have song was a beautiful ending to such a superb, well thought out, planned album.

The title track is her most underrated, period.
Amerie's swag still feels so fresh after all these years, there's something in her delivery that just takes everything she does to another level.

Yeah, this was a very solid debut from an underrated talent. It's easily her best album.

I've been listening to all of her albums on repeat lately. It's a shame she fell off, but hey, we got four good R&B albums out of her. That's more than we can say for a lot of artists. This was a solid debut and a nice introduction to her R&B classicism/romanticism. I don't think it's close to being her best. Vocally it's her weakest and production-wise, it's undercooked in places, but the highlights are great. I think Touch especially took this sound and elevated it all around (outside of those ballads at the end, which are kinda blah). And Because I Love It is stronger as well IMO.
I've always got my fingers crossed for another Amerie album (that EP was not it).

Yeah, this was a very solid debut from an underrated talent. It's easily her best album. Totally agreed. I love her debut the most out of her other albums. It's that one album that keeps me going back.

One of my all time favorite albums. A gem from start to finish. Her and Rich Harrison were ahead of the curve and a dream team.
