64 - pfft uh Caleb Bartolo? I can't find the song title. Or even a song. Lmao I had no idea there was someone else who'd done both, but no - it's not Caleb Bartolo. To be more specific - the guy came from season 2 of SYTYCD and season 5 of AGT.

SONG #61: Zoe Badwi - Freefallin'Local dance act Zoe Badwi had a string of club hits, but this is the only one of them to cross over to the mainstream, becoming a top 10 hit. It is her only song to reach the top 50, with follow-up single 'Accidents Happen' unable to make it past the 70's. This song features a writing credit from another Aussie artist that will be appearing in the 2000-2009 edition of this rankdown. SONG #62: Anja Nissen - Anyone Who Had A HeartAnja Nissen covered this 1963 song by Dionne Warwick for use in promos for Australian drama 'Love Child' (which is set in the 1960's, hence the use of 60's music). Her version, while not a full-release single, made it into the top 30. It is (sadly) her second of two charting entries in the top 50 on the ARIA chart. Australia letting ourselves down by not getting 'Where I Am' to chart. :'( But then again Isaiah's trainwreck didn't chart either soSONG #63: Keith Urban - ShameThis song was only released in Australia and New Zealand as the second single from Keith's 8th studio album 'Fuse'. It was produced by Stargate and Benny Blanco (lol) and I guess being a pop-leaning song is why it was released here. The song got no music video and minimal promotion, peaking in the #30's both here and in NZ. SONG #64: Timomatic - If Looks Could KillTimomatic (real name: Tim Omaji) placed 7th on 'So You Think You Can Dance AUS' in its second season, and later placed 3rd on 'Australia's Got Talent' in its fifth season. He then signed with Sony Music Australia. 'If Looks Could Kill' was the second single to be released from his debut self-titled album, and was his second top 10 hit. I loved this song from the first time I heard it, after initially not being as into preceding single 'Set It Off'. SONG #65: Delta Goodrem - Sitting On Top Of The World'Sitting On Top Of The World' is the lead single from Delta's 4th studio album 'Child Of The Universe', timed to capitalise on publicity from the debut season of 'The Voice' where Delta is the longest-running judge (six seasons strong!). This song drew criticisms for sounding very similar to 'Rebellion (Lies)' by the band Arcade Fire. IN THE NEXT REVEAL:Song #66: She's already appeared a lot in this rankdown, but this time she's not alone. ( From 2016) Song #67: Aussie cover version which was a top 10 hit. The original artist got salty at JoJo for sampling her version. ( From 2016) Song #68: One of two singles from this artist's deluxe re-release of her second album, and the only one out of five-in-total to not have a guest feature. ( From 2011) Song #69: Surprisingly only this duo's second #1, and it's also their biggest. ( From 2014) Song #70: More Japanese avians. This was a bigger hit than their other song in this rankdown. ( From 2013) Let me know if you want to be tagged in the reveals!

'The Greatest' was a hit US single, and isn't in this game. Sorry. :'( I would've ranked it well too 'cause I love that song.

SONG #66: Samantha Jade & Cyrus - Hurt AnymoreI'm not including Samantha's entire singles discography lmao, I swear! This song is presumed to be a single from Samantha's forthcoming 3rd album, but so far there has been no further news on that album. This single is currently the lowest-charting top 50 entry for both artists; Cyrus has yet to release any more material, while Samantha's follow-up tracks have not charted. The video for this is a letdown IMO, it's really not that interesting to look at. SONG #67: Betty Who - I Love You Always ForeverThis is the breakout hit for pop singer-songwriter Betty Who, released as the first single from her second album 'The Valley'. It is currently her only release to have charted in Australia, although it is her third #1 hit on the US dance chart. I was never really a fan of Donna's original version, tbh. SONG #68: Jessica Mauboy - InescapableNot content with the lacklustre performance of 'Get 'Em Girls' and its singles, Jessica's label re-packaged the album for a deluxe re-release featuring additional songs. 'Inescapable' was chosen as the lead single (and fourth overall) from the re-released version. Written by Diane Warren, the song had been recorded for the original version of the album but was left off the final tracklisting. The song became the largest hit of the era. SONG #69: The Veronicas - You Ruin MeReleased as the lead single from their self-titled third album (following the cancellation of 'Life On Mars'), The Veronicas took a calculated risk by choosing a ballad to front their new project. The risk paid off, with the single debuting at #1 and spending three weeks atop the chart; making it their longest-running chart-topper. SONG #70: Birds Of Tokyo - LanternsThis is the biggest hit by Aussie band Birds Of Tokyo, reaching the top 3 in 2013. It is also the band's only top 10 hit. The song was also released to radio in the US, but it did not chart (at least, not on pop radio). IN THE NEXT REVEAL:Song #71: The debut single from this male singer/dancer, who has had another song recently revealed in this rankdown. ( From 2011) Song #72: This is her last song appearing in this game, I promise! ( From 2013) Song #73: A hit single from a male X Factor runner-up, whose debut single has already been revealed. ( From 2011) Song #74: This single by an Aussie dance troupe was poised to be their US breakout, but that didn't happen. ( From 2012) Song #75: Aussie hip hop outfit, featuring an international breakout pop female. This was her first featured hit before she guested on huge US smashes. ( From 2013) Let me know if you want to be tagged in the reveals!

"Lanterns" was a decent hit on Rock formats in the US. It went Top 30 on Alt and Top 10 on AAA.

SONG #71: Timomatic - Set It OffThis is the debut single by Aussie singer/dancer Timomatic (the follow-up single 'If Looks Could Kill' was revealed a couple of days ago). I wasn't initially a fan, but it grew on me while 'If Looks Could Kill' was more instant. 'Set It Off' is Timomatic's highest-peaking single on the ARIA chart, stopping just shy of the top at #2. SONG #72: Samantha Jade - FirestarterSamantha's sixth entry in this game is symptomatic of her career being firmly rooted in this decade, and the fact that she has so many great non-album singles (although this song was tacked onto the Singapore release of her debut album, so it technically counts toward that era). 'Firestarter' came along 8 months after her X Factor winner's single as the expected lead track from her second album which would later be scrapped. SONG #73: Taylor Henderson - When You Were Mine'When You Were Mine' is a top 5 hit for X Factor runner-up Taylor Henderson, released as the lead single for his second album 'Burnt Letters' in 2014. It and predecessor 'Borrow My Heart' (revealed earlier) are his only hits to-date outside of the show (although one of his performances did make it to #2), as subsequent singles from 'Burnt Letters' failed to crack the top 40. SONG #74: Justice Crew - Boom BoomAustralian dance troupe-turned-pop group signed internationally with Pitbull's label Mr. 305 Inc. in an attempt to break into the US market. The song was originally a massive #1 hit in Australia (their first of two) but went absolutely nowhere in the US when it was sent to pop radio. I'm surprised they never did a remix with Pitbull in order to give it a kickstart, although I was against that idea (I went back and looked for the thread in the pop forum lmao). SONG #75: Hilltop Hoods - I Love It (ft. Sia)'I Love It' was the first single from the sixth Hilltop Hoods album 'Drinking From The Sun', featuring Sia on the chorus. The song became the group's second top 10 hit on the ARIA chart, and Sia's first (before 'Titanium' and 'Wild Ones' blew up worldwide). Sia was already shying away from appearing in her own videos at this point, as she does not appear in any of the three music videos made for this song. IN THE FINAL REVEAL:Song #76: The final X Factor-related song to appear in this game. It's a winner's single from a male artist which is called a rip-off of P!nk. ( From 2011) Song #77: A female pop duo with a troubled history; one member has already appeared a solo artist, the other will also be featured in the 2000-2009 game. ( From 2010) Song #78: A top 40 hit from a band specialising in drum-and-bass; also their only top 50 entry. The song was a major UK hit however. ( From 2010) Song #79: The band is Australian, as is the featured vocalist - but the DJ's behind the remixed hit version are French. ( From 2016) Song #80: Will, you guessed Jessica Mauboy for #72, but her last song in this game is here; and it features an Idol winner. ( From 2011) Let me know if you want to be tagged in the reveals!

SONG #76: Reece Mastin - Good NightThe debut single from X Factor winner Reece Mastin. As typical for the winners during the show's prime, it reached #1 in a very limited sales window. This song drew criticism for sounding very much like a rip-off of Pink's 'Raise Your Glass'. SONG #77: Scarlett Belle - ClosureThis is the debut single for pop girl duo Scarlett Belle, made up of Tamara Jaber and Reigan Derry. Reigan is also featured in this rankdown as a solo artist, while Tamara will also make an appearance in the 2000-2009 game. 'Closure' was a flop, and while the follow-up did a little better their third single didn't chart; their album was scrapped and the band was dropped before disbanding. SONG #78: Pendulum - Watercolour'Watercolour' was the lead single from Pendulum's third album 'Immersion'. The band's local success is restricted mainly to the albums chart, where they've had two top 10 albums. As for the singles chart, they have only scraped the top 40 twice - once with this song, and once with a remix of the ABC News Theme (ABC as in Australian Broadcasting Corporation lol). Pendulum have had far greater singles success in the UK with several top 40 entries; and this is their biggest UK hit, peaking at #4. SONG #79: Kungs vs. Cookin' On 3 Burners - This GirlCookin' On 3 Burners are Australian, as is featured vocalist Kylie Auldist. The original song was released as a single in 2009, until French DJ Kungs' 2016 remix turned it into a hit. SONG #80: Jessica Mauboy - Galaxy (ft. Stan Walker)'Galaxy' was released as the 5th and final single from Jessica Mauboy's sophomore album 'Get 'Em Girls', and is the fourth collaboration from the set; as it features a guest appearance from Australian Idol winner Stan Walker. The video is notable for otherworldly imagery that make it appear that other planets are visible in the sky. The single also featured a re-recorded version of previous single 'What Happened To Us?' (also in this rankdown) replacing Jay Sean's vocals with a re-recorded version by Stan.
