"Dirt Road Anthem", and "Take Your Time" better be in the bottom 10.

cannot wait!!!
Locks for Top 10:
"Strawberry Wine", "Independence Day", "The House That Built Me", "Follow Your Arrow", "Even If It Breaks Your Heart", and "A Broken Wing". I could see "Springsteen" and "Whiskey Lullaby" being locks as well!
Locks for Bottom 10:
"Die A Happy Man", "Beer For My Horses", "Good Time", "Courtesy of the Red, White & Blue (The Angry American)", and ""Husbands and Wives". I could also see "Take Your Time", "Redneck Woman", "Mean", and "Butterfly Kisses" being bottom 10 or close to it!

Wagon Wheel would have been my 1 if participated. I feel like it could have the highest SD, dunno.

Lol I don't even remember which songs are in this rankdown! I did this too long ago!
01. What are locks for the top 10? "Independence Day" is honestly the only one I feel pretty sure of, because of the way it absolutely murdered the competition in the Martina rankdown... Maybe "Stupid Boy"? "Give It Away"? "Need You Now"? "A Broken Wing?" "Jesus Take The Wheel"?
At least half of this entire list deserves to be in the top 10, which means that almost all of the songs that I think should make it probably will fall short!
02. Locks for bottom 10? This is a little easier. "If You Ever Have Forever In Mind", "Die A Happy Man", "8th of November"... Okay, maybe it's not easier... "Husbands and Wives"? "Butterfly Kisses"?

I could see that one being one that is lower than others though, if anything just because it is Big & Rich.

01. What are locks for the top 10? I think the females have a lock on this one...
Independence Day; Strawberry Wine; Need You Now; Jesus Take the Wheel; Breathe; Whiskey Lullaby; Follow Your Arrow; If I Die Young; Mama’s Broken Heart; This Kiss
02. Locks for bottom 10? And the males aren’t going to do so well here...
Have You Forgotten; Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue; Husbands and Wives; Die a Happy Man; Chicken Fried; Dirt Road Anthem; Good Time; Take Your Time; Toes; Murder On Music Row

It isn't a song I am rooting for really but bottom 10 seems to low for it at least.

On the bottom: Jason Aldean, LadyA, Rascal Flatts On the top: Brooks & Dunn, George Strait and Strawberry Wine! Fuck no is Lady Antebellum going to be on the bottom. This confirms that "Need You Now" is probably not gonna win, but I would be stunned if "Need You Now" was in the bottom 10.

It's not a bad song but It's kind of forgettable among other better songs. I still like it quite a lot and I'm surprised that it was eliminated first. It would deserve better.

When I decided to host this I didn't think this would be the first one out either but once the lists started coming in it was obvious this wouldn't escape the bottom 5, and with each list it basically kept sinking deeper and deeper. Only the #99 came close to stealing the "honours" of being first out lol Hint for #99

Hint - Die A Happy Man (hopefully) Edit - You just change a hint? No suspicion lol it's super late here and I meant to type in "Waiting On A Woman" but typed his other ballad that starts with W "When I Get Where I'm Going" accidentally

01. What are locks for the top 10? Independence Day, Whiskey Lullaby, Follow Your Arrow, Before He Cheats, Jesus Take the Wheel
02. Locks for bottom 10? Die A Happy Man, Take Your Time, 8th Of November, I Am A Man Of Constant Sorrow, Courtesy Of The Red, White & Blue (The Angry American)

Might like Butterfly Kisses if it is sung by another person. He seems to have to clear his throat every time I heard this song.

"Butterfly Kisses" was one that I actually could see myself enjoying under the right circumstances, but it also went straight towards the bottom of my list just because this list is so amazing and this one is so cheesy and dated and long and Bob is somebody who I had never even heard of before. So in other words, this pretty much had everything working against it! No qualms with seeing this leave the rankdown first.
As far as what's next... I think we're gonna say goodbye to "Take Your Time"!
"She can take her time, 'cause I don't mind waitin' on a woman..."

"Butterfly Kisses" seemed like an obvious #100 choice to me. It's not a good song and it's older and not really well known compared to most of this list. Not surprised.

"Butterfly Kisses" was a first time listen for me and I found it to be pretty schmaltzy and overdone. I probably should've spent more time with my list, but I had 78169264301638526306354296352 other things happening at the same time. Even if I did grow to love it, it probably wouldn't have climbed much higher on my chart.

"BK" was just awful and so dated. Not surprised by that being last.

This isn't the song that I would have put last out of the songs I have heard...but it wouldn't have been far off.

When doing these rankdowns I think it's important to ignore "dated". Consider the time these songs were popular. How old were you, what were you doing, how did this song make you feel?
If you have no frame of reference, consider other songs from that year that you do have an opinion about. Judge from there...
I have no frame of reference for "In The Mood" by Glenn Miller, but I absolutely love it....other things from that era (WWII) leave me quite unimpressed.
