Perfect choice! Third single should definitely be "Sexy Dirty Love" for the spring. Waiting on Xtina's return so I can tell my friend Christina who i've called that nickname for the past 5 years oops haha

I love it (despite the problematic lyrics) and it's probably my most played track aside from "Lonely" and "YDDIFMA," but I'm incredibly skeptical about this as a single. There are much better choices. Just makes me nervous, especially since she's on such a roll right now. Because let's be honest, she's the kind of artist that only needs one bum single to throw her completely off track during an album cycle. I hope that doesn't happen here. Maybe. But she did have a huge recovery after made in the USA flopped hard, with neon lights & really don’t care (and let it go to a degree)

Better be "Sexy Dirty Love", but that's alright 2nd single.

I really like this instrumentally, but the lyrics made me really uncomfortable. The attitude displayed by Demi is not only quite inconsistant with her persona in many of her other songs, it's also a really problematic one, especially when it's painted so broadly i.e. she's not just saying she's nobody without somebody, she's saying *you* ain't nobody, which is really not a good message for her to be sending.
Granted this still blows SNS out of the water, which was awful lyrically and instrumentally, but I still feel pretty conflicted about this.

I don’t see this doing much. Am I the only one who thinks her vocals don’t sound very good this era? She overdoes the vibrato on everything and it clashes with the pitch correction. I feel like she overcompensates vocally and consequently, her songs are just kind of...... loud

Her vocals are better than the Confident era where she'd constantly lower her larynx to try to have a "bigger" and more "soulful" sound. It was awful. And her fake vibrato has been there for years and is consistently terrible.

I always took it as she's still referring to herself in the "you ain't nobody" part. She sings, "Can't you hear my heart say, 'you ain't nobody 'til you got somebody.'" I think what confuses people is that the entire sentence is broken up because of the "oooh" background vocals in between "can't you hear my heart say" and "you ain't nobody 'til you got somebody," so it sounds like two separate thoughts. I mean, either way, it's still a ridiculous lyric, but yeah.

Oooh I never thought of it that way with her heart telling her that she ain't nobody unless she's got somebody. It seems to resolve itself in the end when she is happy with herself and everything will be alright.

Smart of them to release it right now and let it peak right around Valentine's Day. Hopefully they won't waste such a big opportunity for another big hit.

She should have performed this at the AMAS and not SNS.

She should have done the EMA medley again. That would have set up TMYLM nicely.

I feel like she overcompensates vocally and consequently, her songs are just kind of...... loud Demi has a naturally shrill, screechy voice. Sure she can sing from a technical standpoint, but it's not always pleasant to listen to.

Also, I feel like that last sentence is a bit misplaced this era. It was a valid criticism during half of the DEMI era and the Confident era, but she's mostly stopped lowering her larynx to produce that "fake soul" voice. But she's mostly let that aspect go this era, which is partially why she sounds more shrill.
