The first two both made the top 15 peaking at #13 + #14 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs Chart but "Always Will" peaked at #44 and "Love Like That" never charted.
Here is the duet "We Can't Unmake Love" with John Berry that was later included on his Greatest Hits album.

THE WALLS CAME DOWN ~ COLLIN RAYE
On July 14, 1998 Collin Raye released his 5th studio album. This album featured the #1 hit "I Can Still Feel You" and the top 5 hits "Someone You Used To Know" and "Anyone Else". A fourth single "Start Over Georgia", a song written by Collin Raye with his brother Scott Wray, barely made the Top 40 peaking at #39. A fifth song would see a music video released, "The Eleventh Commandment" which was played on CMT and TNN back in the day.
Here are the videos to "The Eleventh Commandemnt", "Anyone Else" and "Someone You Used To Know"
Tracklist: 1. "Anyone Else" 2. "I Wish I Could" 3. "Start Over Georgia" 4. "I Can Still Feel You" 5. "Someone You Used To Know" 6. "Corner Of The Heart" 7. "All My Roads" 8. "The Walls Came Down" 9. "Anyone Else" is a jam! *goestoseeifitchartedin1999yearendchart*
EDIT: Top 30 on BB's '99 year-end chart! Can't wait to rank those songs!
I do feel sad that I missed the '97 year-end rankdown, though.

alright everyone, I have 18 more albums to spotlight as a couple people submitted 10 albums each, plus I added a few extras that I felt were important to include. I will do them in groups of 3 to try to get them down but it took a little longer than anticipated so will post the next set after #16.
My thoughts on what has been eliminated thus far:
"It Would Be You" - I love this song, and do think it is out too soon. Don't understand the dislike of it as I think it is great. Someone host a Gary Allan rankdown, it needs to happen!
"I Wanna Fall In Love" - I was beyond shocked at the support for this song. I never thought it had a prayer of Top 40, never mind Top 20! It even made it to the Top 10 at one point during submissions. Insane. That all being said I love the song and Lila McCann is a great vocalist!
"Happy Girl" - one of the only songs from Martina I do not like
So up next we see the last song to see NO Top 10 ranks, any guesses?

I actually like some of his stuff (my first year-end rankdown will be when he breaks through), but I almost feel the same way you do about Dwight Yoakam (voice-wise, at least).

Ouch! Sorry Patty Loveless fans! Both of her songs on this rankdown didn't feel as magical to me as others did...

I was a little too late, but I was either going to guess this or "You've Got to Talk to Me".
I liked both of the Patty Loveless songs that were in this RD, maybe I should check out more of her music when I have time which is never.

Talk about consistency. Patty Loveless almost made the Top 10 and was comfortably in the Top 20 pretty much the whole submissions process with only 1 person ranking her in the Top 20 and no Top 10s, lol. But all those 20s and 30s.... wow. Impressive.

I probably like a few Tracy Lawrence tunes myself lol. Would need to go and listen tho cuz I can't remember off the top of my head. Dwight Yokam has some good music. I don't dislike his voice by any means, but it's not a fav of mine either.

"Honey I'm Home" should have been TOP 10!!!!!! This is the first song I associate with the 90s. Heard this on the radio ALL THE TIME and loved it so, so, SO much!!!!! It's stood the test of time for me. A classic 90s jam. This song is iconic and legendary and groundbreaking. Those rockin' verses paired with that quinetessential 90s country chorus ugh, my heart!!!!!!! I hope y'all rankked THIS version and not the shitty YouTube video version on youTube lol

I remember when it was a single always changing the station whenever this song came on. Even listening to it for this and the Shania rankdown I still don't like it. More Album Spotlights next and then we will get to the Top 15! A little warning though the next two songs will see people lose their #1's!

BOTTOM 10'S LEFT (104-95): So basically people are going to come at us when our bottom 10s are revealed, huh? I need to brace up for the storm of criticism I'm about to face!

LBTrocks, it was right @ #10 until zaclord π knocked it right out of the top 15! Want me to clean up this mess? I'm disappointed HIH missed the top 10 as well, but I'm actually glad it lasted as long as it did. I loved most of everything in my top 60, so a #20 ranking from me may seem offensive, but out of over 100 songs, #20 don't sound that bad, don't it?

hold up while I go fix that! Somehow "Don't Be Stupid", "Honey I'm Home" and "You're Still The One" were all labeled wrong and because I just assumed my music was labeled right I didn't double check to make sure each one was the right song lol. Gonna fix those three videos now

I'll take a shot in the dark and say that my #1 misses the top 10 (spoiler alert! it almost won a recent rankdown that finished up not too long ago). If my so-called luck continues, my top 5 will be extinct once the top 10 arrives...

@pma2015 I'll vote for whatever you want me to vote for if you stay and join the partty and comment on country songs! 90s country RULES! Take this time to educate yourself. 90s had a lot of good shit in it, not just Mariah!
