This album is too long-winded for me to get through. The first couple songs are nice though.

So I went to Target, the closest to home, and they were not selling it, even thought online it said it was available in store. I went to a second Target and the same. So I pulled a Succulent and went to the manager and asked for help to find it... and she said it's in the back room and we haven't unpacked it yet... I relented and decided to pick it up on my lunch break tomorrow.

So I pulled a Succulent and went to the manager and asked for help to find it... and she said it's in the back room and we haven't unpacked it yet... I relented and decided to pick it up on my lunch break tomorrow. Awww, I am glad I am influencing people in a positive way. You have to fight for what you want. It is these people's jobs to put all new releases out, not just the ones they feel worthy of selling. I even tweeted Target and ratted out my local Target and they were like "We are handling the problem. Let us know if it happens again." I don't ask for much in life...just that when a website for a major, multi-billion dollar corporation says they have a CD in stock, it is actually in stock and visible to the naked eye, not in the back dungeon where employees taking their lunch break. Anyway, yes, the same thing happened with this CD, of course. I was nervous because the website said only a few in stock and of course, when I went there after work today, there were NONE. Fortunately, the guy was quicker than usual this time and I got it. My only gripe is that they didn't include the mini-movie. Why not? Oh well. That's what the internet is for, I guess. The cover art is different for the physical. MUCH cooler. Jhene is just so compelling. Maybe because I am a weed head like her, but I just FEEL her. I can put her on and just coast. I don't have to skip songs or pick favorites (although there are definitely some in each of her albums). Not many artists have that level of cohesion and strong execution of a vision.

Guys this album is low key hot! So many good jams on it, especially "Satvia," "Moments," and "OLLA."

Why not call the store before you get in your car? *shrugs* Why assume I have a car or that stores actually bother to check to make sure a CD is actually in stock? *shrugs*. Anyway, the more I listen to this CD, the more I like it.

When people @ you and make no sense or ignore parts of your reply! Gotta love it!
It was really smart to break this into two CDs. It's more easily digestible. The first disc is actually flawless but the second has gems on it too. The song with Brandy is so beautiful and I love the bonus song with Chris Brown.

Even more reason to call, if your transportation is no limited. *shrugs* Pretty sure he lives in the NYC area. There's more than enough public transportation to not need a car there. Not that it matters though b/c the problem is not that these stores don't have stuff in stock. It's that they DO have it in stock - their own websites will say so - but they don't unpack the boxes and put the merch out. Calling is therefore pointless because whoever answers the phone at customer service is just going to look it up in their system and tell you they have it, but having it is not the same thing as someone going to the stockroom, opening the boxes and putting the stock on the shelves. Then you have to haggle with the one guy working in electronics to get him to go to the back and find it for you.

I have this down for an eventual listen but the length has put me off; I just haven't had time yet to sit down and take the whole thing in. I may have to break this up into 5-song blocks and spread it out. I do like Moments a lot.

Cause I’ve always called to make sure anything that’s confirmed in stock is in the store. It’s actually a recommended practice in a lot of retail. *shrugs*

What can't you comprehend about the fact that calling doesn't make a damn bit of difference because the employees hate their jobs and will only look at a system (that is often not kept up-to-date, fyi) and not check ACTUAL INVENTORY to see if a CD is PHYSICALLY IN THE STORE?! How many people have to explain this to you or are you going to keep being a broken record. Adding *shrugs* to the end of every statement does not erase the fact that you are obstinately failing at reading comprehension, for some strange reason. Do I have to summon Jack??

It’s also never been my experience with Home Depot, Frys Electeonics, or Best Buy. Hence why I *shrug*

The store websites are inaccurate as sh!t so I use BrickSeek or Zoolert to check inventory so I know which store to go to; hasn't failed me yet.

You know that. Let's not focus on NYC store inadequacies and focus on this amazing body of work. I really want Jhene to be recognized for the artist she is. She keeps a strong mood and I love her lyrics. So real and relatable, at least to me. I wouldn't try to extrapolate my feelings and experiences to the human population.

Can you go check?' lol. HSB must live in Utopia *shrug*
