36. This song was left off this rapper's debut album for whatever reason but remains my favorite song by him. A small snippet of this song was in the video for a song released in 2015. This rapper is one of the most popular at the moment. (Hip Hop, 2012)
37. This band was recently featured in Rosey Ray Nylund's The HITS OF '96 Rankdown, making the top 40. This song was released a couple years later as the 2nd track on their 2nd album but it was never a single. (Rock,1998)
38. This song is much different from the others. This is by one of the most disliked country singers in recent years. This song was the 3rd single from this country singers 3rd album. This was the artist's fifth country #1. (Country, 2012)
39. This was the 3rd single off this bands 4th studio album. It was originally released as a promotional single. The singer was also in the 2016 film adaptation of "Suicide Squad" (Synthrock, 2013)
40. This song was the 4th single off this popular rapper's 2nd studio album. The rapper has been very controversial over the years. This is based on Curtis Mayfield's 1970 Funk classic "Move On Up." This song also features the artist from #10. (Hip Hop, 2006)

Song #36Kendrick Lamar ft. Gunplay - Cartoons & CerealThe track was produced by Axel of THC and J.LBS, mixed by Ali and features prominent use of sound-bites from classic cartoons. It features MMG lieutenant Gunplay, who shines brightest on the track.
Song #37
Dishwalla - Once In A While Can't find any information on this song.
Song #38
Luke Bryan - Drunk On You Drunk on You" is a song written by Rodney Clawson, Chris Tompkins and Josh Kear, and recorded by American country music artist Luke Bryan. It was released in February 2012 as the third single from his album Tailgates & Tanlines. It was also the first single that Bryan did not have a hand in writing.
Song #39
Thirty Seconds To Mars - City of Angels "City of Angels" is a song by American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars, featured on their fourth studio album Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams (2013). Written by lead vocalist Jared Leto, who co-produced the song with Steve Lillywhite, "City of Angels" was inspired by Leto's experience of living in Los Angeles with his family and was influenced by the city's culture. Imbued with elements of synthrock as well as music from the 1980s, the track was cited as an example of the album's variety and experimentation. It was one of the first songs to be written for Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams, but required a long period of time to record. "City of Angels" was released as a promotional single in July 2013 in the United States, and was serviced to mainstream radio in Europe in October 2013. It received general acclaim from music critics, who commended the song's composition and production. Following the release of Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams, the track appeared in the lower regions of the UK Rock Chart. When released as a single, it re-entered the chart reaching number 21, peaked at number eight on the Alternative Songs in the US, and experienced moderate success in some international markets due to digital sales from the album. A piano version of the song was digitally released in July 2014.
Song #40
Kanye West ft. Lupe Fiasco - Touch The Sky "Touch the Sky" is a song by American hip hop artist Kanye West. It was released in early 2006 as the fourth single from his second album, Late Registration. The song features American rapper Lupe Fiasco on his career debut and was produced by Just Blaze, standing as the only song on the album not to feature production by West. Blaze uses a slowed down horn sample from the Curtis Mayfield song "Move On Up."

41. This song is likely the most polarizing on the list. This song was track 5 on this band's 2nd studio album. This band had a hit song that was featured in popular rhythm game "Guitar Hero III" This song sounds nothing like that song. This song is much heavier and features lots of screaming vocals. (Post-hardcore, 2005) 42. This song was the first single from this group's 9th album. In this song, the band states that even after high school ends, life doesn't really change. (Pop Punk, 2006) 43. The 2nd off this Scottish singer-songwriter's 2nd studio album, this song features smooth saxophone and an incredible guitar solo. The song was also featured in "Grand Theft Auto V" (Rock, 1978) 44. This song was the 2nd single off this bands 3rd album. This song is considered to be an enjoyable moment in their live performances due to their energy. The song was also featured in Madden NFL 2005. It reached #44 in the UK. (Garage Punk, 2005) 45. This electronic duo made a re-emergence when their song from 2008 was used in a car commercial. While that song was a success on the alternative charts, this song did slightly worse, peaking just outside the top 10. (Dance-pop, 2016)

The song was also featured in "Grand Theft Auto V" (Rock, 1978) Holy crap, it's "Baker Street". (I would say "hello, new #1", but I could say that about five different songs.)

41. Mouths Like Sidewinder Missiles - The Fall of Troy. Strong contender for my #1 I am genuinely curious as to how you were able to get this one. I thought the hint was kinda vague and even then, I didn't think Fall of Troy were a particularly well known band.

I thought the hint was kinda vague and even then, I didn't think Fall of Troy were a particularly well known band. Post-hardcore songs in Guitar Hero III I knew either had to be "FCPREMIX" or "Can't Be Saved" by Senses Fail since both of them were on second albums, but I knew the Senses Fail album came out in 2006, so it had to be The Fall of Troy.

I'll post these now since 1. They've already all been figured out and 2. I probably won't be home until later tonight.Song #41The Fall of Troy - Mouths Like Sidewinder MissilesThis song hurts my ears yet I somehow still enjoy it.Could not find any information about this songSong #42Bowling For Soup - High School Never Ends"High School Never Ends" is a song by American rock band Bowling for Soup. The song was the first single from the group's ninth album, The Great Burrito Extortion Case, and was released on September 19, 2006. The song deals with the frustration of graduating from high school and seeing that modern popular culture is very similar to the obnoxiously superficial and materialistic culture in high school. The tune had a prominent outside songwriter, Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne and Tinted Windows, working with the band.
Song #43
Gerry Rafferty - Baker Street "Baker Street" is a song written and recorded by Scottish singer-songwriter Gerry Rafferty. Released as a single in 1978, it reached #1 in Cash Box and #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it held that position for six weeks, behind Andy Gibb's smash "Shadow Dancing". Additionally, it hit #1 in Canada, No.3 in the United Kingdom, #1 in Australia and the top 10 in the Netherlands. Rafferty received the 1978 Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. The arrangement is known for its haunting saxophone riff. In October 2010, the song was recognised by BMI for surpassing five million performances worldwide. It was awarded Gold Certification on two occasions, on 1 April 1978 and 22 July 2013 by the BPI in the UK.
Song #44
The Hives - Two-Timing Touch and Broken Bones "Two-Timing Touch and Broken Bones" is the second single from the album Tyrannosaurus Hives by The Hives. Released as an Enhanced CD with B-side tracks in 2005, "Two-Timing Touch and Broken Bones" was considered a hit for The Hives, and appeared on several compilations.
Song #45
Empire Of The Sun - High And Low
"High and Low" is a song by Australian electronic duo Empire of the Sun. It was released in August 2016 as the lead single from their third studio album, Two Vines. Group member Nick Littlemore gave details of the track during its premiere on American radio station KROQ, saying "It was about this girl I knew when I was a kid called Alice D who was kind of a wild child. She did all kinds of crazy things. We wanted to write a song that captured the innocence and bravery of youth, and being a teenager, and having these kind of experiences where you throw caution to the wind and you try things for the first time." The song features on a Holden commercial airing during the eighth season of The X Factor Australia and features host Jason Dundas. This song was also featured in EA Sports game, FIFA 17 as soundtrack.

46. This was the final track on this London-based singer-songwriter's 4th studio album. This song is his way of saying that he isn't religious but he does so without putting down those that are. (Folk Rock, 2011)
47. This song is the title track off this Christian rock band's 4th studio album. It's an arena rock song with a crunchy guitar lick followed by blasting guitar chords. (Rock, 2009)
48. This song was this artist's second #1 hit on Billboard Modern Rock Tracks. There is also a longer version released for the soundtrack of the 1991 movie "Until the End of the World" (Rock, (official release) 1992)
49. Another heavier song, this time it's the 3rd single off this metal bands 3rd album. The band is known for wearing masks but in the video for this song, they're unmasked and wearing casual clothes. Their faces however, are not shown. This song was also featured in "Guitar Hero III" (Nu metal, 2005)
50. This song is the 2nd single from this band's debut album. The song was written as a cry for help when the band was broke and didn't know what to do with themselves. The song managed to reach #3 on the alternative charts and even managed to crossover to the Hot 100, peaking at 95, their second highest peak. (Indie Rock, 2010)

Song #46Frank Turner - Glory HallelujahThe closing song on England Keep My Bones, a staple of Frank’s live shows, deals with religion and atheism, specifically, if there is no God, can we still find meaning in life? Is that maybe something we could be happy about? Frank is an atheist (as the song makes abundantly clear) and advocates a moral way of life that isn’t based in religion. To be clear, the song can be an uncomfortable first listen for Frank’s religious fans, but he isn’t trying to put them down. He acknowledges that faith has some positive aspects but in any case, it’s not for him.Song #47Casting Crowns - Until The Whole World HearsUntil the Whole World Hears is the fourth studio album by American Christian rock band Casting Crowns. Released on November 27, 2009, the album was produced by Mark. A Miller and features a sound that has been described as 'pure American rock', 'soft adult contemporary', and 'CCM'. Lyrically, the album discusses Christian subjects such as God, Jesus, and salvation, with several songs being reinventions of classic hymns. Until the Whole World Hears sold over 167,000 copies in its first week, Casting Crowns' highest sales week to date, and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Albums chart. In the United States, the album ranked as the 37th best-selling album of 2010 and the 137th best-selling album of 2011; it ranked as the first and third best-selling Christian album in those years, respectively. It has sold over 1.1 million copies and been certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).Song #48Lou Reed - What's Good (The Thesis)The single "What's Good"/"The Thesis", released in March, was Reed's second #1 hit (after "Dirty Blvd.") on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart, occupying the top spot for three weeks. The 12" version of the release contained Reed's reading of "Harry's Circumcision" and "A Dream". A longer version of "What's Good" was previously released on the 1991 soundtrack album to Until the End of the World.Song #49Slipknot - Before I Forget"Before I Forget" is a Grammy Award-winning song written and recorded by American metal band Slipknot. It is the third single from their 2004 album Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses). It was listed as AOL's top metal song of the decade. "Before I Forget" borrows certain elements from a much older Slipknot song "Carve", which was recorded before their self-titled album. Singer Corey Taylor stated that he fought with producer Rick Rubin over the chorus. Rubin wanted Taylor to change the chorus vocal melody because he felt it wasn't catchy; however, Taylor stood his ground and the chorus stayed unchanged.
Song #50
Young The Giant - Cough Syrup Cough Syrup" is a song by American alternative rock band Young the Giant from their eponymous debut album. It was composed when the band was named The Jakes, and first appeared on their 2008 EP Shake My Hand. Released by Young The Giant as a single in 2011, the song peaked at number three on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart.

51. This single from this country artist's 9th studio album shares a similar name with a Demi Lovato song released several months before this song. (Country, 2014)
52. This track is based on an acoustic song with the same title that the band's lead singer heard folk singer Jake Holmes perform. Holme filed a lawsuit against the band for copyright infringement. (Hard Rock, 1969)
53. This is a cover of a song by the same band in #52, performed by a recently deceased frontman. (Rock, 2006)
54. This was the 4th single from this recently deceased singer's debut solo studio album. The song is about loving someone in every aspect; wanting to be that everything to his object of affection. It reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and #11 in the UK. (R&B, 1988)
55. This was the 2nd hit song and 3rd official single from this duo's second studio album. This topped the US charts for 2 weeks. Before this, they had another song top the chart for 6 straight weeks. (Electro Pop, 2011)

Led Zeppelin - Dazed And Confused When the Yardbirds disbanded in 1968, Page planned to record the song in the studio with the successor group he had assembled that summer. 56. Lazarus - David Bowie 57. Fallout - Catfish & The Bottlemen 60. The Angel of the Forever Sleep - Marcy Playground 56 and 57 are correct but 60 is not. I'm kinda confused though because on the Wikipedia article for the song, it says it was in the film but yet it isn't shown on the soundtrack. Only other hint I can think of is that it was also featured in Dawson's Creek and Charmed. Also the singer said the song came to him in a dream so he woke up in the middle of the night to write it down.
