Radioactive is both literally & figuratively toxic...not a huge fan of TMTC but at least I respect Hozier's talent...It's Time is ok, it can come in at 8 as far as I'm concerned
the other 7 are all excellent!

REALLY upset that "Sweater Weather" is out cuz it's an amazing song. The chorus is heavenly.
Really GLAD that "Little Talks" is finally out, because it is atrocious. One of my most hated songs for sure. I legit thought it was Ellie Goulding doing the vocals at first lol.
Might comment on the rest later.

29. A Sky Full of Stars (37): Among the most generic songs Coldplay has released; not a big fan --and I like AOAL and HFTW 28. Renegade (23): Nice feel-good, sing-along song that makes me smile :) 27. Riptide (29): Didn't know some people hated his voice. I guess same that hate James Blunt? I don't have any problem with his vocals at all; this is another feel-good song I like enough, although the "I just wanna"s sometimes gets on my nerves 26. Heathens (30): Not bad. A bit samey samey, but the instrumentation, especially the guitars elevate the song for me. 25. Everybody Talks (34): Actually, I think I misplaced this with Animal at the last minute I used to really dislike the chorus, but with time I at least stopped disliking it and accepting its catchiness --still not a big fan 24. Come Get Me Now (39): I admit that I under-ranked this one... it should've been 10 stops higher, as I forgot about the last minute or so of the song, which makes a difference in songs like this 23. Burn It Down (12): Now this is BS... strong LP's song that should've at least been top 20! 22. Ride (24): reminded me a bit of 311... good ranking 21. Sail (31): I've appreciated it a bit more with time, as I was initially not a big fan 20. Animal (38): See Everybody Talks. I like it but just not as much as other songs in this RD

I knew "Little Talks" would go out before the top ten. It was always going to be too polarizing. Sigh.

19. Exs and Oohs (20): Good to see this in top 20. Fun and flirty. Really like its retro vibe 18. We Are Young (3): >:( Became a fan the first time I heard this song. Really solid, from the first part of the song to the "home tonight"s. 17. Some Nights (18): Good song, especially the first couple of minutes. The autotune and the COME ONs lessen what could've been a top 10 in this RD for me. 16. Demons (5): My favorite Imagine Dragons song. Love the delivery, production, structure, the whole vibe. 15. Paradise (25): Surprised it lasted this long. 14. Sweater Weather (21): Good enough. 13. Stressed Out (11): This was a breath of fresh air to me. Brought back memories from the 1990s but with a '10s vibe. My favorite of the 3 songs in this RD. 12. Safe & Sound (6): >:( YES, it's POP... and? It's Pop at its best. One of those songs that I love listening while driving or just when wanting to feel good! 11. Little Talks (4): >:( I've loved this one since the first time I heard it. Unique song, from vocals to instrumentation to lyrics.

So I have my entire top 3 gone, but also "Stressed Out" and "Sweater Weather" are out!!!
This is a solid top 10, I wish "Little Talks" could've made it further though.

15. Paradise - Another one of these songs I got into when I was new to English music, it's not rock at all but it's at least an amazing pop song. 14. Sweater Weather - I just love the mood of this song, it's really chill and so unique. Sucks to lose 2 top 10s in a row. 13. Stressed Out - Oh well. I couldn't decide where to rank it in my top 2 and it ended up as my #2 in the end. I just can't get the hate, how is it last place worthy for some of you? The hook is soo good and the verses are great too. 12. Safe & Sound - Ugh 4th top 10 gone in a row This is a great synth-pop track and one of the best crossovers in the past couple of years. 11. Little Talks - Wow I thought this is going to win this rankdown, apparently not. Another great track, the beat is really good. A bit disappointed with this top 10 if I'm being honest. Ranks remaining:#1, 3, 7 14, 15, 18, 19 23, 24, 26 Hoping one of my top 10s can pull off the win. Shocked Feel It Still & It's Time are still in. Prediction:1. Shut Up & Dance 2. Team 3. Radioactive 4. Pumped Up Kicks 5. Pompeii 6. Somebody That I Used To Know 7. Take Me To Church 8. Royals 9. Feel It Still 10. It's Time My guess for the highest SD is Feel It Still.

I really thought "Little Talks" would be top 5. Seemed like it was pretty popular with both the pop and rock crowds. Here's my prediction:
1. Shut Up & Dance 2. Somebody That I Used To Know 3. Royals 4. Radioactive 5. Pompeii 6. Team 7. Feel It Still 8. It's Time 9. Pumped Up Kicks 10. Take Me To Church

RIP "Little Talks"; you were my breath of fresh air amongst the "Thrift Shop" infatuation from 2013.

At this point I'd take anything other than Radioactive. I like it less and less each time I hear it.

Will try revealing the top 10 all at once either tomorrow or Monday. It may most likely be Monday I feel like. Dunno what exact time yet.

15. Coldplay - Paradise I liked this when it first came out. Now a days? Not so much.
14. The Neighbourhood - Sweater Weather This is the Indie sound I was really digging that year. I would have put this one in my top 10.
13. Twenty One Pilots - Stressed Out Usual Suspect or not, this was unlistenable to me. I would have thrown this at the bottom of the pile along with Imagine Dragons.
12. Capital Cities - Safe & Sound Synthpop done the right way. I might have just ranked this at #3. Right underneath Neon Trees songs.
11. Of Monsters And Men - Little Talks This song was alright. I got sick of it's "happy go lucky" sound ,after a while.

I like every song in that top 10,except that symphonic noisy "commercial jingle" crap called "Radioactive".
From what's up there, I think "Shut Up and Dance" should win because of the 80's vibe.

Will finish this today.
Song number 10 is the lowest SD in the game! What song could it be?

Wow I'm shocked it made it this far tbh. Not a bad song, but I'm pretty sick of it and listening to it in a playlist of other alt to pop crossovers made me realize how generic it is.

Song number 9 was winning after the 1st 15 submissions cause it had no ranks lower than 20, until the lower ranks started to slowly come on, and it fell all the way to 9 at the last minute. It was still in the top 5 after the 45th list. 53 participants. A 43 is also lost. And I should say that... this should have been in the top 5.

I need "Radioactive" and "Somebody That I Used To Know" to leave sooner rather than later please. Everything else in the Top 10 is at least decent imo.

This is like the most boringly average song ever, though I'm sure immense overplay didn't help that for me.
Side note: I'm honestly shocked my #1 is still in. Not complaining of course, but I'm pleasantly surprised it got this far since I thought a lot of people hated it. I expect it to have quite the standard deviation, that's for sure.

YEAHHHHHH BOYYYYYY!!! Now, if only Pompeii and STIUTK can gtfo, I'd be fine with any of the others winning (but preferably my 1, 2, or 4 hehe)
