^The fact that Beautiful Trauma would be #2 in Top Album Sales speaks well about it. Not so much about the debuting albums outside of Flicker. Also, with the release of Science Fiction in physical sales, it gets a bit of redemption, although until another album comes along that beats the record drop from #1 in the Billboard 200, it will continue to be remembered for that.

Glad to see P!nk's second week looking good. Thought it may have dropped even more. Hopefully it'll trend a bit higher and will become a consistent seller this xmas!

Ouch at the 88% drop for Pink if you take out the 240k bundle, she actually only dropped 60% or so. besides, it's average drop for album with bundles. (almost all dropped close to 90%)

Demi is also the only act from that week's album releases to have an actual hit which is surely helping streaming keep the album afloat.
Normal drop for P!nk.

Three hard rock albums are among the entries in the all-rookie iTunes Top 10 this flipover Friday, lining up behind Kelly Clarkson. Clarkson’s Meaning of Life (Atlantic) opens at #1 as she begins a week of heavy TV promotion: Ellen DeGeneres Show today, NBC’s Today on Monday and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday. She drops in on Howard Stern on Wednesday and will livestream an event with Neil DeGrasse Tyson that night. The metal presence on the iTunes chart early this morning comes from Hollywood Undead’s fifth album, appropriately titled Five (BMG), at #2, Wake Up Call from Atlantic’s Canadian rockers Theory of a Deadman at #5 and Red’s Gone (Provident) at #9. Rap has two reps in the Top 10: Big K.R.I.T.’s 4eva is a Mighty Long Time (BMG) at #4 and Yelawolf’s Trial By Fire (Shady/Interscope) at #7. Ty Dolla $ign’s Beach House 3 (Atlantic) is the top debut on Apple Music, chilling at #7, and is sitting at #12 at iTunes. Granger Smith’s ninth album, When the Good Guys Win (Wheelhouse) is #9 and Hanson's Christmas album, Finally it's Christmas (BMG) wraps up the Top 10. hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=309092Friday, October 27, 2017 CHART STORY: FLICKER ON FIRENiall Horan is #1. Flicker—the first solo album from the former One Directioner, out via Capitol—has debuted on our Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) Chart with just north of 148k. Future & Young Thug’s collaborative project, Super Slimey (Freebandz/Epic), bows at #2 with approximately 75k, while RCA Nashville’s Chris Young scores the top country debut at #5 with 39k for Losing Sleep and Capitol Nashville’s Darius Rucker comes in at #6 with 34k for When Was the Last Time. The only other new releases to make the Top 20 are Paper Route Empire’s Young Dolph (#17) and Bossier City Records’ Turnpike Troubadours (#19). As for the noteworthy moves, Brand New’s Science Fiction (Procrastinate! Music Traitors) re-enters at #7 in tandem with the physical release of the record. Meanwhile at #11, Demi Lovato’s Tell Me You Love Me (Hollywood/Safehouse/Island) inches closer to rejoining the Top 10. When It comes to SPS marketshare, UMG leads with 42%, SME is #2 with 28% and WMG is #3 with 25%, while the indies follow with 5%. Streeting this week are albums from Blue Chair/Columbia Nashville’s Kenny Chesney, Atlantic’s Kelly Clarkson, Crush Music/Atlantic’s Weezer, Epic’s Yo Gotti, BMG’s Hollywood Undead, Slumerican/Shady/Interscope’s Yelawolf, Wheelhouse’s Granger Smith and Columbia’s Rachel Platten. An act called Ninja Sex Party is also releasing a set of covers independently, and we’re super bummed we now have to come up with a new name for our office holiday gathering.
