Ewwww Everything about that is awful and Faith sounds absolutely atrocious on it lol. I mean I knew something I hate would probably win since I hate the majority in this Rankdown but I got hopeful there for a while when there were so many good/decent ones left in. This blows lol. But seriously tho castleoblivion26 thank you for hosting this! Great job as usual, and I was UBER impressed how fast you cranked this one out! Merry Christmas everyone!

But seriously tho castleoblivion26 thank you for hosting this! Great job as usual, and I was UBER impressed how fast you cranked this one out! Merry Christmas everyone! Thank you very much. I felt I was going a little quick but due to wanting it done by today it needed to go that way. Really hope everyone liked it. Definitely sad you don't like "Where Are You Christmas" as it is easily one of my favorites. I wanted "O Holy Night" to win but if that couldn't this was the next best one with "Hard Candy Christmas" being my 3rd favorite. Also "Silver Bells" had the Highest low ranking at 57. Every other songs rankings were in the 70's or lower for their lowest rank. Not my favorite version of the song but close to it. (had both versions in my top 10). Now gonna take a little break from hosting rankdowns. My Favorite Female Country singers one I will continue to post the songs here and there and will have that due in February at some point so everyone will have plenty of time to participate in that (and I hope everyone will do so!)

A well-deserved winner imo. That song plays in my head whenever I feel down during the Holidays and makes me feel hopeful again.

Wow, a landslide! Faith Hill's song is amazing and she sounds absolutely gorgeous on it vocally. I still prefer "A Baby Changes "Everything (unpopular opinion), but she totally blew this one out of the water too. Such a modern classic. What a great winner! <3

So happy this had a good winner. I remember when this song came out when I was around 11-ish. I wanted to see that (pretty awful) Grinch movie just because of this song, and then bought the soundtrack for it, too lol.

I'm not broken hearted "Where Are You Christmas" wins. It's a great song, just not a personal favorite...
There were some I was spot on...others I felt like my list had been set on fire.

I'm sorry I wasn't around for much of this! Overall I must say that this was a perfect rankdown. I had no clue what to expect because people have such diverse tastes in Christmas music. I definitely had a few surprising losses along the way, but overall the results matched my list quite closely, and I am thrilled with how everything turned out. The top 10 was literally perfect to me. "Where Are You Christmas" is an incredible song no matter which way you slice it. To me it fully captures the emotional feeling of Christmas, and yet it is also an amazing song when removed from the context of Christmas. Faith's vocal on this song proves that she can stand toe-to-toe with the major pop divas, and is definitely an artist worthy of releasing one of the most popular soundtrack smashes of all time. I was not expecting this song to win because I knew it had haters, but I guess they were just a very very very very very vocal minority! I am a little bummed that Martina didn't win, because obviously I was rooting for her. But ultimately it is okay, because she unquestionably earned the distinction of being the artist who performed the best in this rankdown overall, which is fitting considering how prolific her Christmas music has been as a whole, even outside the Country genre. But Faith's song is such a perfect winner, I am just so thrilled! Thank you for hosting castleoblivion26! This was a HUGE undertaking, especially during the holiday season! Hopefully you didn't miss out on any family time because of this. We all appreciate you, and I look SO forward to your personal rankdown! Most of the selections are perfect so far!

I was able to manage to get this done without missing any family time thankfully so it all worked out really well. Agreed about being bummed that Martina didn't win but 3 songs in the Top 10, 2 in the Top 4 and all 5 in the Top 25 is amazing really!

Christmas is canceled next year with this winning lol. Also, while I love Martina's version of "Silver Bells", I did not know it was that well liked to rank #2 here. I never thought "Silver Bells" would've been a song (any version) to make it into the top 5.

Great job and much thanks to castleoblivion26 for bringing us into the holidays and hosting a great rankdown! Hopefully we can do something similar next year but on a smaller scale...lots of great Christmas music out there for those of us that enjoy it lol. This is my favorite song to play for a few days after Christmas...I usually always start Christmas off and end with a Vince Gill song.

I had no idea that Vince also recorded that song. This is usually the last holiday song I listen to:

We all know "Deck The Halls" was the real winner. As much as I love "Where Are You Christmas" if there is love in your heart and your mind, you will feel like listening to the Brand New Year album in its entirety all the time.

I predicted the winner before this started, without even selecting it as my #1. Do I get a prize!?
