Probably the most radio friendly song on Slowheart. Great choice. I think radio will eat this up

I was hoping for "Bittersweet Company" but this is one of my favorites so I'm happy. Hopefully BC will be next!

Wait. I don't doubt that this is probably the next single for Kip Moore. But phil1996, what do you mean it's impacting today. Songs usually don't impact radio on Friday. Did the article say it was delivered to radio today? Sorry, just a little confused.

I love this song it's the best he's had in quite some time and it was cowritten by David Lee Murphy so it's sure to be a hit!

Did the article say it was delivered to radio today? Sorry, just a little confused. Saw it was "impacting 11/3". Take of that what you will. I'm sure it's fine. Bittersweet Company is amazing but the usage of "hell" in the chorus wasn't going to work on radio. Love this song though

I think "Bittersweet Company" would have been a better choice since that chorus is pure gold, but this would have been my next choice. Very radio friendly, relateable, and catchy. Hope this does well for him.

Love this song though All Access often has mistakes on their websites for impact/release dates for albums and singles alike -- "Last Shot" was shipped to radio today. My guess is this impacts radio the 13th or 20th of November.

I'll update this post this afternoon as today is add day for Kip Moore.
"Last Shot" did enter the MB Top 100 at #81.
I honestly don't know where I see this doing in adds I think a solid 30-40 would be my prediction.

I'm excited to see what this one will do on the charts. I'm hoping for consecutive Top 10s for Kip - he really deserves it in my opinion. This is a solid album.

40 adds seems like a good number. This, at least to me, is a lot better than More Girls Like You. Really nice listen.

I like this. You'll never win with me and Kip's voice, but it's not as bothersome to me on this song as it is others. I really like the melody on this. Especially in the chorus. Really good!

Debuts this week at 60, although without a bullet. Looks like it'll be another slow climb for Kip

Doubt this makes it past top 30. Still early, but outside of the 40 adds on day 1 it's been quite an underwhelming start

Eh, I think this can be a hit, but it's gonna be a marathon chart climb since Kip Moore still doesn't have much buzz with him.

I agree that was a beautiful and powerful video. Definitely makes me appreciate this song more. I think the last time a music video really made me feel something was “You Should Be Here”. Cole breaking down at his dad’s grave definitely got to me.

As usual his voice and music does nothing for me, but the music video made me cry, so that was beautifully done at least.

Wow, no comments in a while for this one. Sadly, this does not seem to be a future big hit for Kip, and at this point I have to wonder what his label status will be going forward. It seems like his style of music just isn't in these days, and he's really struggling to have any connecting singles outside of simply being radio friendly. This one is selling terribly and there's really not much momentum. Maybe they can squeak this into the top 25 somehow, but I don't see much more success after that point. Also, I saw him this past weekend and he didn't even play this song which I found to be weird. It's almost as if he knows it's a flop himself and is going to pretend it never happened.

I love this one, and it actually seems to be picking up the pace a bit, but the fact remains that it's only #40 on Billboard after 24 weeks, and the sales just aren't there. I think there's so much potential with Kip, but the label keeps releasing the wrong songs to radio. This is a great song, but I think "Bittersweet Company" would have connected a lot better with the masses.
I think this can probably hang around for a while though yet and peak somewhere in the 20s like "Young Love" and "I'm To Blame" did.

I think this can probably hang around for a while though yet and peak somewhere in the 20s like "Young Love" and "I'm To Blame" did. Everyone involved in Kip’s camp wanted Bittersweet released, but radio insisted on him editing the chorus to cancel ‘hell’ out. FWIW, when this song was first released, he did just about guarantee The Bull is going to be 3rd to Bobby Bones. That’s definitely the song that gets the biggest reaction off the album at his shows. By a long shot. In that interview he said Last Shot was also originally going to be the lead single. I love this one, but feel that if this isn’t going to perform, nothing on that strong album will. Maybe “The Bull”, but who knows.

sad to see this song struggle so much but "Bittersweet Company" should have been the single and radio is stupid for wanting that word edited out. I like "The Bull" a lot but I definitely still want to see "Bittersweet Company" get released and am still hoping that it will. "Last Shot" is great and I love the song, still hold out hope that maybe it will finally catch on with more people!
