We're at number 81 and this got 8/500... I imagine a biiiig jump from 10 to 100 in a few songs lol PS: How do you rate the songs on a scale from 1 to 500? The 500 is actually the total for the 100 songs lol. Basically, every song is placed in a tier, being - terrible, bad, meh, decent, good and great. The terrible tier isn't worth any points and the bad (which we're currently in) is only worth 1 point, which is why the total score is so low right now. The score will eventually start adding up very quickly though.

79. Highway Don't Care - Tim McGraw ft. Taylor Swift & Keith Urban
So, uh, this is going to be hard to explain. Basically this is here because of the chorus. Tim McGraw telling me that the highway won't do this and won't do that but he will, just bugs me. It's like, well no s**t Sherlock it's a damn road and you're a human being. Apart from that, this song's fine, but I just find that lyric to be exceptionally dumb. Sorry Tim.

And with that, we are out of the "bad" tier and into the "meh" tier, with each song now being worth 2 points!

Both of them I haven't fully heard, so no tears over them.

78. Love Me - Lil Wayne ft. Drake & Future
Sooooooo... Most of you are probably wondering how the hell this lasted so long. And you are right to question my logic because, well, these are possibly the worst lyrics of the year. Well, I love the beat. I know, it's a lame excuse but the synths on the beat sound really nice under Future's hook, which was my favourite spoken bit of the song. Overall the lyrics are still atrocious and Lil Wayne sucked on this song with Drake not much better.

77. Drake - Started From the Bottom
Oh... hey there Drake, haven't seen you in a while... This song though. It's just so dull and lifeless, especially for a Drake song, or to be more specific a pre - Views Drake. But once again I do like the beat, and Drake's flow is still very smooth, although he has 0 charisma in this particular track.

76. Wanted - Hunter Hayes
Some more boring white guy with acoustic guitar music. There was a lot of that this year, and at least this guy's voice is nice, making this song better than most of it's boring competition.

75. Gone, Gone, Gone - Phillip Phillips
What did we need in a year full of boring white guy with acoustic guitar songs, how about even more boring white guy with acoustic guitar songs! More meh. Meh. Meh. Meh. I think the word meh came from someone while they were listening to a white guy with acoustic guitar song.

74. Cups - Anna Kendrick
I could've honestly killed this in the bad tier, because I don't know that it's that good of a song, but I do get some form of enjoyment from listening to it I guess. I don't know when or where, but I find it more appealing than any of the songs that are already out.

73. Downtown - Lady Antebellum
Need You Now is better... but that said, it's not a bad song. It has a nice groove for a country song but the chorus feels kind of flat and lyrics are pretty stereotypical for a country song, you know, talking about going downtown and all that.

Love Me is awful, probably my bottom 3. Started From The Bottom is a mediocre guilty pleasure for me. Don't care for wanted, Gone, Gone, Gone is fantastic, Cups is great, and I don't care for Downtown. And yes, Need You Now is better.

72. Let Her Go - Passenger
This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I actually like parts of this song. Passenger's voice is very annoying, which is probably my main complaint of this song, however, the lyrics while cliched, strike a bit of a chord with me. I also like the guitar quite a bit, and overall I find this song has it's negatives but it also has it's positives.

71. The Way - Ariana Grande ft. Mac Miller
This is another unpopular opinion, having this song so low down. It's not a bad song, but the chorus sounds off and Ariana's voice sounds like she has a blocked nose, on this song in particular. I like Mac Miller's part, but the chorus' backing vocals and Ariana's voice put me off I little bit. Sorry.

70. Home - Phillip Phillips
This song is boosted quite a lot for me because it's used in an ad. I know this is pretty much everything Toddintheshadow's doesn't want people to stand by, but because of it's use in the ad it's instantly recognisable for me, which makes it better than most other acoustic guitar songs that sound exactly the same.

69. Mama's Broken Heart - Miranda Lambert
This is a nice little breakup song. And for the record, Miranda is my favourite country singer, probably because in a genre filled with beardy guys with annoying voices, it's refreshing to hear a girl with a normal voice singing and singing well at that. I like the storytelling in this particular track and the only thing really holding it back is that I love so many songs from this year. If this was 2016 or 2014 this would probably be in my 30s-40s.

68. Catch My Breath - Kelly Clarkson
I mean, don't get me wrong, this song is fine. But in a year full of better pop songs, this one kind of gets forgotten. Also I haven't heard it much outside of "Pop Danthology 2013" (a yearly mashup), so each time I hear the "catch my breath" part I expect Christina Aguilera to be right after singing "feel this moment" so it feels empty there. Which obviously isn't Kelly's fault, but it's a legitimate reason for me.

67. Love Somebody - Maroon 5
I like post 2010 Maroon 5 more than most. However, even I can admit that this song should just be credited to Adam Lavine. It's really his song, and for me that's a good thing since I like his vocals here a lot more than any other component of the song. The synths are kind of painful to my ears in a way, which prevents this from being any higher, but that said I do like Adam's vocals and it's not a bad song overall.

66. Next to Me - Emeli Sande
I really like the piano on this song, and that's probably the saving grace because I just find Emeli's voice annoying. I know that's a common theme for these reveals, but that's because generally a song with an annoying voice wouldn't be in my good tier. That said, I like the production of the song and the "ooooh ooooh" part.

65. Brave - Sara Bareilles
Am I the only one who thinks this song has the exact same beat as Roar. Anyway, this song is pretty low because it's one of those songs that tries way to hard to pump you up without actually having much energy and all it does is build up to Sara singing a line in a higher pitch than any other line, not any more inspired, just louder. It's not a bad song and it easily gets caught in your head, but it's kinda disposable.
