This is a hit. What’s alt in 2017? In the 00s the format played Mudvayne and Slipknot and charted an AC/DC single. Alt is a fluid situation and definition. Changes by the hour

Didn't this song just randomly pick up 20 adds on CHR?

Uh I kinda dig this on first listen I guess, but I know if it becomes a big hit I'll get tired of it fast.

This went from "WTF am I listening to" to "it's a tad annoying but not terrible" for me. Definitely her most accessible song.

if the "you wanna meet me in the..." lyrics were cut out I'd probably chart this. Really weird to see this Top 50 on Alt though, I'm not really a format purist but it sounds out of place with a lot of the current chart. Should be interesting to see if it goes anywhere.

Take out the Alisa Ueno and The Knocks verses and this would be better.
Cool production and the chorus is catchy.
Not sure what this is doing on Alt though, lol.

Song has grown on me (the bassline in particular), but the vocals are still kinda annoying, and the lyrics suck. Also not so sure about this charting on alternative, as this would make it the THIRD EDM song to chart this year, following Something Just Like This and Line of Sight.

I dig this, mainly just cause of the bass. It sounds great in my car, don't think I would listen to it anywhere else

I love this, but The Knocks part wasn't necesary imo. The beat is cool and I love Nervo's part too. Still, don't get it what the hell is this doing on Alt lmao, but not complaining What's next to chart on alt? Bebe Rexha? Florida Georgia Line? Sam Hunt?

The bass line you guys talk about is the only salvageable part of this song. This would have been decent as an instrumental instead.

Dare I say it...this isn't terrible? I was expecting a lot worse. If you don't focus on the lyrics, it's basically an above average, catchy CHR EDM song with one really strong thing going for it (the bass line). There's, honestly, worse on the Alt chart right now than this. I love this, but The Knocks part wasn't necesary imo. The beat is cool and I love Nervo's part too. Still, don't get it what the hell is this doing on Alt lmao, but not complaining What's next to chart on alt? Bebe Rexha? Florida Georgia Line? Sam Hunt?

I don't see why people are objecting to this on alt -- this is the type of dance music that actually fits the format. I don't see it as any different then alt giving Daft Punk a few hits, they're somewhat similar stylistically imo.
As a song itself, I'm fairly ehh on this. It has a nice groove and is very catchy, but it's too repetitive and that robot voice is pretty annoying and out of place sounding. Got a feeling that I'll like this song more after I hear it a few extra times, but it'll start to get annoying if I keep hearing it after that. I can't see this doing much on alt or pop tbh -- while it's catchy, it has a weird string structure and I can see this being verrrry polarizing amongst listeners.
I'll predict this going top 20 on alt with a fairly quick rise and fall ala Down or This Girl, and top 30 on CHR.

Just heard this for the first time. I liked the instrumental and the sung parts, but really did not like those spoken/rapped parts with the pitched-down voice. I'm guessing that's The Knocks?

I'm another one that kind of likes this. Indeed the baseline is the best part. Her vocals aren't great and The Knocks parts are really the worst of it. It's a catchy tune though overall. I won't be rooting for it to fail, but I guess if I hear it on WSFS, I'll keep it on until I get sick of it.

Top 40 on Alternative: 50 38 SOFI TUKKER Best Friend 375 231 144 1.234 🙄 It’s not that I hate this, it has a good bass line but this belongs on pop radio not on alt. I think stuff like this charts over here because modern pop radio is getting more and more hip-hop and don’t know what to do with the pop so they’ll push it to alt if it’s the slightest bit alternative leaning.(Jon Bellion, Halsey, etc. )

I still honestly don't see any problem with this charting on alt though -- as I said before, it has more in common with Daft Punk or Bob Moses then The Chainsmokers or David Guetta, and calling this EDM isn't even remotely true (it's dance music sure, but that doesn't made it EDM).
