when gravey isn't even bottom 5 on closeness... I am not even bottom 10. HOLY CRAP A CLOSENESS OVER 60. Thats even worse than my closeness at the start of 2017 alt with 59. So I'm having a historically bad start.

19. Swang 32. Look at Me! 33. Magnolia 41. Slippery 49. Rolex 51. Both 77. Everyday We Lit 89. Juju on That Beat (TZ Anthem) 90. Rake It Up 100. Tunnel Vision
and if the entirety of Billboard Twitter had their rankings casted as one participant in this, this is what it would look like (based on their 2017 YE megarate)
37. Magnolia 60. Slippery 66. Rolex 70. Swang 73. Both 76. Everyday We Lit 91. Look at Me! 94. Juju on That Beat (TZ Anthem) 96. Rake It Up 99. Tunnel Vision

listen here I can understand Rake it Up not being everyone's taste, but bottom 10?!?!? Other than the infamous Nicki part, it's a big generic nothing song.

#100: Yeah screw this song. Me ranking it at only #84 questions me and this year. #99: Waste of space from 2016. #98: Why wasn't this bottom 2? It's lifeless, it is lyrically vomit-stained and I'M THE s**t I NEED TOILET PAPER #97: I'm currently milly rocking right now because P-P-P-PERFECT RANKING!#96: I can tell you s**t, Lucci. You're the 4th worst song on the YE charts according to Pulse users. #95: Did we really think Rae Sremmurd would ever top BB? #94: Well, if it didn't have redeeming lyrics it would be less of a shitstain. #93: ...I can't think of anything. #92: So. Damn. Dulllllllllll. #91: Aw. This was pretty undeserved tbh. Idk why but from what I've seen about you I thought you'd love all the rap songs and maybe tank some well-loved songs. But based on your rankings you said you hated Both, so why is #91 undeserved? Both is forgivably bad. It's bland but not bottom 10 worthy. Also 12th out of 92 participants yay my opinions matter

Already PISSED. Slippery, Magnolia, and Rake It Up DESERVED SO MUCH BETTER. Y’all go to parties?!? Lol. These are certified bangers lmao how you hate on these. Ugh. So dissapointed in you all pulse. Letting Liam Payne garbage still past the masterpiece that is Slippery. So so sad.

well Pulse you officially f*cked up the biggest rankdown ever, so y'all need a RANT WHAT THE F*CK IS THAT BOTTOM 10 HUH? HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THAT? Slippery, Magnolia and Rolex are all legitimately good songs with fantastic production and fine-rapping. singingrulebritannia is 100% correct that most of you don't understand what makes trap appealing. What I don't understand though, is that you're so quick to bring up lyrics as a reason to hate a song like Magnolia, while a song that literally compares a human to a f*cking dirt road is still in? Wtf. The rap bias has honestly gone too far. I can understand the hate for Look at Me, Tunnel Vision, Juju & Swang but Slippery (which is better than B&B btw), Rolex and Magnolia are just fun songs with great beats and their lyrics are all excusable compared to some of the songs still in. Seriously guys, Body Like a Backroad, CLoser, Look What You Made Me Do, Believer and Treat You Better are worst than half of the songs left. I know that I will get hate for this but honestly I don't care and I'm not questioning your intelligence just questioning if you actually understand why people like trap songs. Also to nearly all of you 92 people y'all can hold this fat ass L. -rant out-

Also to nearly all of you 92 people y'all can hold this fat ass L. -rant out- Maybe you should learn to understand why Closer was one of the biggest songs of the decade... Why would people rank it low? The whole world loved it for a reason. I see your point but the main difference is I do enjoy songs like Closer and even some songs by the same artist (Roses, Something Just Like This & Don't Let Me Down) but the people who tank trap usually tank every trap song except maybe one or two that have something different about them (eg. a female MC, is a 7 week number 1, has a really strong hook). This leads me to believe that some people on Pulse just don't "get" trap. Idk.

I believe Codex pointed this out before but he has the true. Take in mind that here are a lot of international posters and R&B/rap/trap/crap/etc is barely played on this countries and isnt the principal market and people doesnt care about the genre.
Otoh, some people doesnt like the same recycled boring beats, the lazy vocals and the topic of almost all the songs.

Honestly the fact that in Poland trap isn't popular just makes me less knowledgeable about a genre = I can enjoy it easier.

Slippery, Magnolia and Rolex are all legitimately good songs with fantastic production and fine-rapping. You came to rant and you begin with this? Slippery is less than a basic song, it has an empty beat, a lazy flow, and so many nonsense lyrics. Magnolia is just more brag rap that lives off of ad-libs, which no one really came here for. Rolex is more lifeless, bragging dance garbage. And what's the difference between these guys and Rae Sremmurd? Oh yeah, there's not one. All of the bottom 10 songs deserved to go, and it's hard to see how people fail to realize it.

I ranked honestly and once again none of us have to explain our tastes. That’s the thing about music, it is subjective! There is legitimately no right answer.
We need no more of these Baron style rants and genre politics, it’s worn out and tired and it’s deterring to many.

Basically nothing changed about the direction of rap from the last few years to 2017 and yet you've seemingly done a 180 on it in an instant

Wow, I'm 8th out of 92 in rankdown closeness - that's awesome! My #20, though, which will more than likely be out within the next ten reveals, is bound to bring me down in that category, though, so I better enjoy this while it lasts. XD

So far
31. Rake it up 46. Rolex 59. Magnolia (I should’ve had this top 50) 61. Juju on that beat 63. Both 64. Slippery 65. Tunnel Vision 75. Swang 76. Everyday we lit 83. Look at me
I am a little disappointed that a lot of decent to mediocre rap is out before some terrible pop songs
