Paradise is the third extended play (EP) and second major release by American singer and songwriter Lana Del Rey; it was released on November 9, 2012 by Universal Music. It is additionally packaged with the reissue of her second studio album Born to Die (2012), titled Born to Die: The Paradise Edition. Entered HOT 200 at # 10, as well in Canada. Singles from the album/EP were: Ride Blue Velvet and Burning Desire In December 2013, Del Rey released the Anthony Mandler-directed Tropico, a short film that includes the songs "Body Electric", "Gods & Monsters", and "Bel Air". *************************************** I rarely listen to this EP, although Ride is definately among my favorite songs by Lana (though video version with intro & outro). My favorite song on the EP, besides Ride is the closing one - Bel Air. Again, the added music in the video version is just amazingly beautiful! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Paradise edition of Born to Die. It's like seven new songs that kind of put a period on the statement that I was making when I was making the record. It's beautiful."
— Del Rey describing the conception of The Paradise Edition.

The masterpiece that is Ride, with the most beautiful intro and outro ever recorded!
My favorite Lana lyric is from this song/outro:
I believe in the kindness of strangers ...
Tropico
