10. Lights Out - Royal Blood
Thought this might end up a bit higher, but I'm ok with it here. One of my top 10 Active song, so I must be a big fan of "generic"
9. Less Than - Nine Inch Nails
Not a bad song. Most of NIN's songs sound the same to me. I'm not surprised it made the top 10 here, but I don't think it was top 10 worthy.
8. Hurricane - Thrice
This was cool. Top 5 on my Metal chart. Kind of surprised it made this top 10 tho. It sounds a bit like Kings Of Leon in some aspects.
7. Song #3 - Stone Sour
Definitely one of my favorite Stone Sour songs ever. This one rocks. "Say You'll Haunt Me" part 2 works perfect for me too, because it was also one of my top 10 songs of it's respective year.
6. The Violence - Rise Against
Another great one. Easily on of my top 40 songs among these songs.
5. Little One - Highly Suspect
This was alright. I'm nit too crazy about this mellow Metal style, but this one is way better than that other song, which I hope doesn't win this?
4. Go to War - Nothing More
This is a great; Nothing More ,song. Even better than "Mr MTV", which I loved, but this one really had some incredible vocal delivery and a great melody to go along.
3. Square Hammer - Ghost
Loved this one from the first time I listened to it. One of the best Rock songs in years too. Somehow I knew you guys would get rid of the most melodic one left first.
2. Run - Foo Fighters
Damn! I wish the Foo Fighters had beat Highly Suspect. This is a great song. It's just as melodic as their other songs. There are a few screamer lines , but didn't sound out of place at all. Sometimes Nordic and Symphonic Metal adds this screaming to their songs too. So I kind of dig it sometimes too.
1. My Name Is Human - Highly Suspect
Never understood the hype over this. It isn't awful, but yearns for some NRG. What I really didn't like was the vocal style during the verses. this also needed a guitar solo. Slo-Mo Metal doesn't really kick me into gear.
