Taylor already dipping below Ed in pure sales as well? Yikes. Hopefully it can hold up well in the near future...

^Actually, ÷ had already surpassed reputation in both the Billboard 200 and Top Album Sales on the previous charts.

THIS CHART STORY’S READY FOR ITS CLOSEUPFriday, January 12, 2018 The Greatest Showman soundtrack remains #1 on this week’s Top 50 Chart, while the movie continues as the #4 highest-grossing film at the box office right now. Ed Sheeran’s Divide is another lingerer, holding at #2, even though it was released in March of last year. Talk about stamina. G-Eazy’s The Beautiful & Damned (RCA) enjoys a nice bump, powered in large part by two strong singles, “No Limit” f/A$AP Rocky & Cardi B—still at #5 on the Song Revenue Chart—and “Him & I” w/Halsey, which just hopped #15-8 over there. Here, the album goes #8-3 with 36k. Circling back to those with serious stamina, Post Malone’s Stoney (Republic), which originally dropped in December of 2016 and was last seen at #9, breaks back into the Top 5 and puts another 35k under its belt. Meanwhile, a handful of sets are benefiting from a $7.99 sale at iTunes. Notably, P!NK’s Beautiful Trauma (RCA) rises #25-18, tacking on 17k. When it comes to marketshare, UMG is #1 with 44%, WMG follows with 36% and SME is #3 with 19%, while the indies claim 1%. Remember, this is only the second chart of 2018. Last week, there were no debuts. This week, there’s one— Lil Skies’ Life of a Dark Rose, which bows at #23. Expect things to start heating up this coming Friday (1/19), with the chart arrival of Camila Cabello’s Camila (SYCO/Epic) and the streeting of Fall Out Boy’s M A N I A (DCD2/Island). In other news, it’s now Day 12 of weed being legal in California, and… Wait, what were we talking about?

Digital and streamed tracks and albums aren't shipped ahead, so have that many physical albums been shipped out?

^Yup. 1989's shipment was 3xP as well.
1989 went on to 6xp. Repuation may get to 4xP.
Don't forget the RIAA counts more video sites for streaming and the BB200 does not include streaming/sales prior to the album release.

At this point, something from The Greatest Showman, maybe Rewrite The Stars, should be sent to radio. Its clearly resonating with the public. Ive heard lots of people raving about the movie and how good the songs are.

That's funny, I would expect the RIAA to be more restrictive than the BB200.
