I brushed this one off as a generic post-grunge tune when I heard it for this rankdown, but it got on my nerves when I previewed it for the 2007 active rankdown, where they have three songs.

stuff like this making it to the 20s on Alt reminds me that this is the same format that sent Take It All Back to #1 a year or so ago and looks prepared to give Sober Up the same "honor" soon. Pretty insane shift in just 10 years.

#97 is an artist making their rock rankdown debut.

The love just keeps going for some of these, but this did not have a Top 10 ranking. Someone does go for a Top 20 here, and only two more people out this in their top half. We finally see a #100 here, as those are pretty rare to come by since like 75% watched theirs go away with "So Hott". Eleven other people put this in their bottom 10. This was one I was sort of surprised to see how low this was getting, but then I actually listened to it in depth a bit more and understood completely why.

so uh I thought this was a lesser-known Soundgarden track dating back to my days of playing way too much Madden 08 a decade ago up until the point where it came on the playlist a week ago and I looked at the artist, didn't realize Cornell and company had their own Greta Van Fleet. Can sort of see why it's out here, but I couldn't deny my nostalgia/stockholm syndrome and rank it low (see also: Atreyu - Becoming the Bull)

I agree, but it's a good Soundgarden rip off. Who cares if it's a rip off. It's better than some of Soundgarden's songs. Except "Spoon Man". Nothing touches that.

This has the fifth lowest standard deviation in the game. Only three people ranked this in their top half, with one being a Top 20. This had eleven bottom 10 rankings, but two of those were #100s. Most people didn't hate this persay, but pretty much everyone disliked it. It's worth noting that this artist is quite the veteran.

#95 actually saw some love. No one ranked this in their Top 20, however, but six people ranked this in their top half. One of those people, who has suffered enough, is going to suffer even more. Thirteen people ranked this in their bottom 10. There were no #100s, but three people will lose a #99 here.
