I'm into a lot of artists, most notably, ones who provide a unique sound to them, or something electronic-ish and big, like Radiohead and Bjork, or even Coldplay..in the 2000's. Also, I'm into artists who have their own little personality in their music, most notably the pop artists. Also, I'm into a lot of ALT artists, especially ones from the 2000's.

Anything pop-sounding varying through many different genres actually. Even Hip-Hop if I like a song's production which is my main focus. Gimme a bop or a beautiful ballad and I'll be all over it. My favorite genre has to be deep pop like Tove Lo or Astrid S.

I'm into soothing R&B and Hip Hop. But not all Hip Hop - mainly Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole, because their music has either a significance meaning, message or history.

Loads or even most of the music I'm listening are seen as "uncool" or "garbage" by many but I don't care, I'm fine with it.
I literally got a lot of hate online, from my family, friends, school etc for my music taste to the point until recently i was scared to say my music opinions anywhere with few exceptions because sometimes they were "too unpopular".

I would say my musical taste is very old school. I always love disco, 80s music, and 90s rnb, but I do listen to some K-pop and J-pop artists as well. Forgot to mention reggae/dancehall, smooth jazz, and soca music as well. I like a little bit of Latin too.

My favorite genres at the moment are pop and country and but I also love 90s music. I would say mainstream music basically. Never my whole life have I ever liked Classic rock etc. I just find it to be an snooze fest and just plain boring.I find the pop and country genres an endless fiesta with constant new artists and music that keeps it fresh.

My music tastes are a bit complicated. I most enjoy pop music as a genre, although I do also like dance, R&B, hip hop/rap and alternative. I tend to only like the more pop-leaning alternative stuff, though. I do like some 70s/80s rock stuff that has a bit of a pop sound to it, but I can't get into hard rock/heavy metal. I've never been somebody who wants to wallow in negative feelings, so I never really have the desire to listen to angry music. I've also never been a fan of country. There are a few country songs/artists I like, like I consistently enjoy Kelsea Ballerini and Maren Morris and some of the more pop-leaning country artists, but generally I tend not to be a big fan of the genre. I especially dislike bro country for the overly repetitive themes.
I tend to focus most on the production when I'm listening to a song; I can put up with lyrics being subpar if it's got a solid production, but if I dislike the production, I usually dislike the song even if the lyrics are decent. I tend to prefer upbeat production over sad/depressing production in most cases, which goes back to what I was talking about with not wanting to wallow in negative feelings. I've never been someone who will turn on sad music when I'm sad, unless I need a good cry, and sad ballads can be a hard sell for me unless they have a powerful message. That's not to say I dislike depressing music though, as I do really enjoy some sad stuff; I just prefer upbeat music in a general sense.
I like a lot of the mainstream stuff that is popular, but I'm also into some niche genres that tend not to be popular on here. I am a fan of some of the more quirky pop/experimental pop artists like Em Beihold, AJR and Jax, all which tend to be hated on here. I tend to stan for artists where I like their music and their personality, which is why I appreciate some of the quirky artists because they bring something different to the table. I've never really cared about if an artist has a super flashy image or does a ton of cool promotion or whatever; it's always the music and the personality that makes me gravitate towards artists. I also have a soft spot for the vibe of female pop-punk artists/bands, such as Paramore, Avril Lavigne, and Hey Violet.

Everything but Jazz and Classical. EBM, Industrial & Nu Metal, Trap Metal, Synth Punk, Phonk, Witch House. Anything dark and electronic or with harsh vocals I'm down for, but I also love mainstream Pop and stuff like that also. Just depends on the mood really.

Very all over the place. I can just tell you my 4 favorite artists are Hozier, Neon Trees, Taylor Swift, and The Weeknd and you'll get the picture.

If I had to choose a particular genre, I'd probably say Alternative and Classic Rock, or music of the 80s and 90s.
But I really like some of just about everything, including classical and opera. And I must be one of what is probably a minority of people my age who makes a conscious effort to actively follow current pop and CHR radio hits.

Id say my taste is eclectic, I like many different genres but I tend to listen to pop mostly.
I enjoy hard rock, classic rock, soft rock, r&b, pop, old disco, disco house, breaks, and 90s/2000s country. If I had to listen to one genre, I donβt know if I could choose, but if you asked a decade, Iβd say the 90s for sure.
I tend to like songs that make me feel something, so it doesnβt have to be a specific genre, just a feel good song.

short version: mostly everything
long version: i like most genres but which ones i listen to changes over time, sometimes i'll listen to rap a lot for a while then rock a lot (which was long and intense so my last.fm is crowded with that lol) but nowadays i try to listen to a mix of everything so i don't get tired of stuff. i try to keep up with new music the best i can but i like 90s and 2000s music a lot so i'll mix in some of that too. when i'm doing rankdowns if i even dislike a song there will only be 2 or 3 songs i really can't stand so i'm favorable to most music in general, which ik isn't common here haha
